  1. ITS into something more practical…?

Yeah - I think we may have a similar approach to this. I’m on my 2nd ITS, had 2 Civic Sis, a GR86, 2 Sierra 2500s, 2 Yukon AT4s (kept one), 718 GT4 and C8 Z06 in past 2ish years. The real enablers for me have been the dealers. I get tax credit so very little penalty for trading out (I have...
  2. ITS into something more practical…?

Go take a photo of yourself by a pcar in a parking lot and tell them it’s you’re lol. I’ve done PCA HPDE but i don’t *think* I was ever a PCA member. May vary by region. I’ve found PCA HPDE to be generally laid back and fun/respectful group .. BMWCCA, Chin, HOD are some other good ones tho...
  3. ITS into something more practical…?

Id have to look at the Lexus … haven’t driven one ever. The infotainment has always turned me off a little but it might be worth another look. I really disliked the system in the GR86 I had. I’m also definitely not ready for a Tesla yet.. maybe an Audi etron if anything! Seems like tech...
  4. ITS into something more practical…?

it really is . I had a GMC 2500 which I liked a lot .. made a lot of sense but I talked myself into something more fun for a daily. My ideal garage is track car, fun daily, heavy duty truck for hauling the trailered car. Also wife keeps her Yukon. Luckily for me, she doesn’t suffer the same...
  5. ITS into something more practical…?

bottom line up front ... i reached out to a couple Honda dealerships and got back offers of $45k and $47k ... too low for what i'm willing to do. i've probably been spoiled with taking very little to no hit on quick trades the past couple of years and i don't want to lose $5-7k off MSRP in 2...
  6. ITS into something more practical…?

I’ve thought about this. The big reason I’m leaning away from the Ridgeline is my likelihood that I’ll be getting another full sized 1/2 - 3/4 ton again in a year or two. Once our house is built I imagine the project sizes will increase and also I prefer it for towing the car hauler over the...
  7. ITS into something more practical…?

I like trading cars out and experiencing different things they have to offer. That being said, I always try to justify it. I’m considering moving to a more “practical” smaller SUV. Similar or less money as ITS. We have a Yukon and Z06. Main purpose of the car will be commuting. Fun is good...
  8. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

glad you got the chance and thanks for sharing .. track days in the wet sucks but it's fun as it dries you you get to start pushing harder... also some good practice with low grip. overwhelming is a good word for it. for as much fun track days are, they sure are exhausting if you're going hard...
  9. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

you guys buying this snazzy intake better park your car and leave the hood up for others to admire. lol. i'm only partially kidding!
  10. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Looks good!! I just can’t bring myself to do it …. Seems like a huge pita! nice job tho and glad the project didn’t Which track? First event ever or just with this car? Any upgrades to track pads/tires? I’m excited for track season to start!

I had it in my first “nice” new car … F80 M3. A white car, the edge peeled up a couple spots on the bumper and I could see dirt under the edge. Terrible. never again lol. plus I just dont mind a couple chips here and there when it’s $6-10k for a wrap job and I go through 2-3 cars/year … it...

how much of the car has been PPF’d? Maybe just the roads I take or something but in all of my cars I’ve never seen rock chips as a big issue. Sure, a couple over the years but even with tracking the cars I don’t see much damage. Or I just ignore it perhaps. Lol. Nice option for some folks...

as nice as PPF works out for some people, this is just one more reason I won’t ever get it(again) … pros and cons to everything though !
  14. Winter photos

nice to stay away from salt when possible. Stuff is nasty. I spy an S2000 tucked away! What’s the story with that car? Long term love gray .. looks so good in any lighting!
  15. Winter photos

I drive the Z06 a decent amount even in some rain once in a while. But i draw the line with any snow … 345mm wide rear tires would not do well lol. My justification for having it at all is track days. It would be a lot of (unused) car if I only ever drove it on the street, but that makes it a...

A little snow never hurt! The salt isnt great but it’s just part of life for some of us, unfortunately! Gotta rinse it it off from time to time though. maybe we should all post photos once we get them cleaned up!
  17. Winter photos

Quite a bit of snow and smart move with the canopy!
  18. Winter photos

C8 Z06 in my case. It’s a small garage though! I imagine other folks have other examples too! The ITS can take the cold though so I’m not worried!
  19. Winter photos

Buried in snow. Covered in salt. Left in the cold while the garage queens hog the limited space. Never ideal, but part of what makes this car special is its versatility. I’ve been running the conti dws06+ and find them to work quite well! Not a 4WD truck on mud & snow tires obviously, but...
  20. Integra Type S Demo Edition part out (copper wheels, carbon fiber, alcantara)

dealership says the parts add no value. lol, of course. i hope you made out okay on the part-out...seems like a good move to recoup some losses.
