I recommend you give your insurance agent a heads up that you’ll be using the dealership’s loaner for an extended period of time and make sure there isn’t a limit to the amount of time your policy will cover you while you drive it.
If you're looking for Blue/Orchid, @dale_cooper is looking for ~$51k for his with 400 miles. Yes, it's technically used, but you'd save quite a bit with a short drive.
I got the same setup from TireRack for my FL5, but went with 245/40/R18--just couldn't beat the price.
Thank you for sharing pics, gives me a better idea of what mine should look like in the next month or so!
There are a handful of electronic-valved aftermarket exhausts (like for the CTR, for example), but the one I see most often has a valve that's controlled via remote rather than drive mode.
In any case, if you decide to take off that OEM exhaust... let me know!
Happy to help! I hope you get a chance to take a fair test drive of the ITS where you can push it a little--my dealership's test drive route had a top speed of 35mph, and it wasn't enough to "feel" much of a difference since the 1.5T is peppy throughout town, but it's easy to hear a difference...
The TLX feels much bigger until you leave the driver's seat.
The ITS is much more passenger-friendly. If your kids (like most) continue growing, you'll probably be glad you've got plenty of legroom to work with. You've also got more cargo space in the ITS' hatch.
Granted, the TLX can...
Well "slightly quieter" would be a perk of the ITS over CTR, but your A-Spec is much quieter than the ITS because of the ITS' larger engine, aggressive exhaust, and Pilot 4S tires. The Conti's aren't quiet, but the 4S' are pretty loud, as others have mentioned.
I may not be the best person to...
I think TheFastLane did a NVH comparison between the DE5 and FL5, but they couldn't do a controlled comparison; they had one in cold weather and the other in warm, and I believe their tests were done in different states. If I'm not mistaken, they found a difference of ~2dB between the two. Take...
I used the OEM all-weather mats for a year with occasional slushy driving, and the front carpeting was largely unscathed--the rear carpeting took on more debris because I have a kid who constantly snacks in the car.
The best part of the OEM floor mat is the branding (2”x5” plastic or metal emblem on the 2 front mats, depending on the one you get). They protect the floor, no sidewall coverage, and they don’t cover the hump in the rear. They’re made of a thick-ish rubber. They’re going to scratch and discolor...
Ah, I guess your "don't even say that" was in relation to the Integra being a rebadged GM vs an electric Acura being a rebadged GM--my read on Sofyan's review of the ZDX was that it was more GM than Acura.
There was an Edmunds review of the Type-S where the reviewer (not someone who would necessarily have any insider info) posited that there'd be a 1-year offering of an Integra Type-R with 400+ hp and SH-AWD. It was purely speculation, but it's been floated.
It doesn't seem like an...
I recommend you check out Redline's review of the ZDX press car--he's pretty pro Honda/Acura overall, but he wasn't particularly kind about the GM/Acura teamwork on the ZDX and called out more thinks he disliked than anything I can recall him reviewing recently. Especially at a press event.
This thing would stick to most dogs, spouses... probably even the bottom of a swimming pool, if necessary. Unless Mat changes the kind of tape he uses, you should have no trouble applying it to a mat.
