As predicted, I'm at about 900 miles on my FL5, and planning for 1,250 miles under 5,000 RPM--also, still afraid about the car hurting me. I love it nonetheless.
My ITS was black, and it was an absolute nuisance to keep clean--initially, I thought the flake helped to hide mess, but I think it actually made it stand out more.
Lunar Silver looks GREAT on the ITS!
So a few things to keep in mind--this forum is a pretty small sample set, and while there's been rumor "from an Acura guy" that Lunar Silver will be the rarest color out there, Acura hasn't officially shared what they intend to produce of each color, and they most likely will never share it. A...
There's a chart circulating around that shows this year's production timeline by color combo, and some have gone into production more than once already--that's part of why some colors may seem favored over others.
That's a markup of just over $1,500, and the average FL5 markup fluctuates between $5k and $10k. Anyone who has hunted for an FL5 for more than an hour is going to tell you $47k is a great deal. It's not MSRP, but MSRP deals are very few and far between.
The ITS can be found at MSRP, but it's...
Thanks @optronix and @Integra23 ! I suppose I should also keep in mind my average traveling speed is 26mph, so I suppose I'm not pushing anything to the limit (tire or car). :D
So I'm finding the Internet generally says to stop running summer tires when the air temperature drops below 45, and that's what's expected here in Ohio starting Tuesday, but it's Ohio and we could be back into the 60's by the end of next week... or ankle deep in snow.... or it could flood...
Not a feature I've ever given much thought, but you're right.
The Civic Hatchback has a great OEM spoiler available--would that make up for the lack of back support? ?
I'm with you on this mindset, actually. If you're getting a CVT, the Civic Hatchback Touring has some great features, and it's quite a bit less expensive (at MSRP) than the A-Spec + Tech Integra, which is where all of the best features come in.
How close to MSRP is "close"? If you can get it for under $50k, I'd get the Type-R.
I absolutely love it and I'm glad I made the switch, but that's just my personal opinion.
I test drove a FK8 and 10th Gen Si before getting a 2023 A-Spec + Tech with the 6MT, traded it for an ITS, then traded that for an FL5. I've seen some things.
First, don't bother with any of the CVT Integras--if you're getting an Integra, get a 6MT. You should have no trouble getting MSRP for...
Obviously I wasn't part of this conversation, but one could interpret her "At MSRP!?" response to mean, "You actually think you're going to get a red or blue at MSRP!? Are you crazy!?" Hope I'm wrong, but that's how I read it.
That "come in here and shake my hand" invite rubs me the wrong way...
So I failed to mention it before, but I looked into the Colorado Lemon Law previously, and it sounds like it's limited to manufacturer defects that impact the vehicle's use and/or market value... this one's a dealership/third party defect, so I think it'd be up to the OP to pursue a general...
And since we’re on the topic of ripping things apart… how tough is it to get the door panels off/back on? I ordered pattern projectors from Europe but I’ve been hesitant to start the install process.
Wow! A one-hour install says a lot--especially since it sounds like DE5 install is a little tougher than FL5 install. It's crazy to think they're different, but it doesn't surprise me at this point.
Since we're on the topic, what how would you rate the difficulty of this endeavor and how long did it take? I honestly hate prying clips for fear I'll bust them, warp plastic, etc., but I believe it can be done with sufficient time and patience.
Having had it for a few weeks now, would you say...
So I've given this some thought, and while I can appreciate that they're trying to make this right and it seems like you're being (possibly too) reasonable, I share some of the concerns that others have brought up here. I understand they can't get a replacement bumper + fender at this time (and...
It was dumb of the dealer to do anything with that sticker other than throw it away (I hate that dealerships apply these to begin with), but I suspect the alcohol and/or cloth you used sanded the finish off the screen--it's easy to do unfortunately, but that part they're not responsible for...
Another emphatic vote for TuxMats, but if you're looking for a set of cheap Integra-stamped OEM all-weather mats and a trunk tray to keep you covered until you settle on an aftermarket option, I have a set that I'm looking to sell. $125 + Shipping for the lot. Feel free to shoot me a message.
