TL;DR: Mikstore C or F kit for mirrors? Mikstore Hatch or Emerald Struts?
I have been reading and watching on the Folding mirrors and Powered Rear Hatch for a year now, and can't seem to find a clear conclusion on whether to use the Mikstore C or F kit for the mirrors, and if anyone else has done a rear powered hatch mod.
Thanks, long time reader, first time poster.

I have done the powered folding mirror mod recently using Mikstore Honda oem f+tilt kit. It works and we are pre wired for everything.

However you will lose your memory seat buttons. Meaning the buttons won’t work but it’ll still remember your last saved setti ng s for key 1 and 2.

Another problem is the tilting mirror will work and tilt down but it won’t return back to position. Mine moves all the way to the right instead of going up. And no wiring is added for that because we are pre wired.

I’m working with Mikstore to get new switches to get my memory seat controls back. But I haven’t heard back from them for 3 days since they told me I need Honda accord switches which have folding + reverse tilt + memory seats in the controller.

I have a 25 A Spec Tech 6MT. I also would like to hear more about this powered rear hatch that you’re talking about.

Interesting, about the memory seats going away, hadn’t read that. I can totally relate to the long response times. Also waiting on a reply for the emerald strut team. Will update when I hear.

Let me know if they send you instructions I’d like to see how involved the install is or if it’s plug and play.

I think no one has reported the memory seats going away because 99% that posted here that did the install are on the type S which doesn’t have memory seats.

Update from MIK states that for me to have the memory seat controls to work in addition to the folding mirrors we would need the Model J.

So from what I see the Model J only comes with the motors and not the full mirrors with motors like the F kit does. Mik may need to make a new model.

2025 A spec Techs need the 4 switches replaced instead of two, the 2 rear door glass motors need to be replaced and the rear door harnesses needs to be replaced with theirs. The glass motors need to be replaced because the new switch has auto up to all 4 windows instead of just two at the front.

I am waiting for them to give me a quote on cost for all of this. Been waiting since Wednesday.

Interesting... Do you have to have seat memory or is this also re-adding it because of a different controller?

This works if you have factory seat memory in your trim. So only the A Spec Tech. The ITS doesn’t have seat memory so the F kit is all you need for that and any other integral trim outside of the A spec Tech.

This is due to the c or f kit switches not have the memory seat controller to allow it to work.

Well in theory because I still haven’t gotten these switches to confirm it. But they said it’ll work because accords have seat memory in their master switches with folding mirrors and reverse tilt.

So what you're saying is, I could add seat memory to the its with accord switches and an a spec memory panel?

That is unknown because I don’t know what extra wiring is needed aside from adding the a spec memory seat switches. But if you ever planned on adding memory seats get the accord switches if you’re doing the folding mirrors.

Thanks for the feedback, if I hear anything I’ll update too. Hadn’t thought there were that many differences between the mirror setup on the Aspec and ITS🤦‍♂️

Any updates from Mik on anything? I still have not got an invoice for the new parts they said I needed and pretty much little to no responses since I last posted on here and updates you guys.

As for the Mik power hatch someone on here wasn’t the happiest with it. Said that it pushed the hatch higher than stock as it was meant for a civic lift gate which isn’t as slopped as the sport back? integra. I have not gotten anything back from emerald
