Picture this, today I'm in a Costco garden center losing all inhibition to purchase some fruit trees and other garden supplies while the wife is doing a spot of shopping inside for some food for the week.

Compulsion prevails and I end up buying:

- 2x eight foot trees (cherry and plum for those who care to know)
- 4x bags of mulch
- 4x bags of soil
- 2x grape vines
- A shovel

This is on top of the food my wife gets, along with us (my wife, daughter and myself) also needing to be in the car to make it home....

Result, we all make it home, albeit a bit tightly in one trip. See for yourself.

Nice pics. this is why I love me some hatchback! With the liftover height it's not perfect. I keep the back seat folded down and the cargo cover out. I put a dog bed for my big dog and he rides along! He has to stoop down when he stands up though cause his head bumps the ceiling.

There's a lot of things I find myself contrary to popular opinion. One of them is the liftover height. Personally I find it perfect and I love that groceries and stuff in general can be packed in without spilling out or over to block the closure.

As a bonus, on my way back from costco with that 65" TV tucked in back, I see this bitch. Like, why do you even own a truck?

That second one is pretty full. Going up to the cottage?

I had calculated that a 65 inch tv or a piece of plywood would fit but was there any interference from the slightly rounded bracing behind the back seats? It's not perfectly flat there.

Lastly most trucks are for show and unless they get an extended bed, our cars can hold bigger items like plywood sheets within the frame of the car. A lot of trucks would have to leave the tailgate down and put an orange flag.

I donated a slightly broken 70" tv to charity and hauled it in my integra instead of my wife's RDX, because it fit better. Deleted the pic or I'd post it.

Yeah cottage runs always involve way too much stuff. For the tv I brought along some big patio furniture cushions to raise it over the two humps.
