Changing from OEM Tires on Type S

A bit late to the party but in my experience, depending on the day and the temperature (and the car), a tire could pick up way more than 5-7PSI during a session (Start at ~28PSI --> end around 36-39 PSI).

With that said, I am new and I just bought the car (haven't received it yet) so I am not familiar -- does ITS show tire pressure and tire temp somewhere in the display? I think I remember CTR displaying those figures (along with relevant temp displays) in one of the modes when I test drove one, but don't know if ITS does as well.

Tire pressure is available on the right-hand display on the dash.

I am 99% sure it doesn't.

It does show pressure for each tire. And from testing it's relatively accurate. That said, I think if you do the pedal dance it will disable the right display, so you have to manually click it to bring it up. So it isn't an easy way to monitor through the session, but it's fine for before and after.

Type s does display PSI. I thought the Type R does not since it does not have TPMS sensors?

Neither show temperature. Manual gives guidance for lowering PSI based on speed. Lower psi for long durations of 130mph+

I use them for track duty; their performance compared to the stock PS4S is night and day. The PS4S start losing performance and get “greasy” after about a lap, the SC2 get faster and faster. Can’t speak on them for DD, aside from the fact that it’s not recommended to use them during wet conditions because of poor wet performance

After the stock PS4S I am definitely inclined to try out some of the other offerings (perhaps 200 TW maybe?), considering that while still great all-arounder, PS4S is more than 6 years old now. With that said, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of options for the stock 265/30/19 size, which is a bummer.
