There's a lot that could be easily dismissed here. We all should know that it's hard to launch a FWD, but also power is power. "Butt dyno" conversations are still questionable at best, no matter what kind of calculations you want to assign to it.

The only thing that matters to me in this comparison, personally, is number of seats (easily measurable) and fun to drive factor (far more subjective). Both are in the ITS' favor, and at a lower price point, so no-brainer for me.

I won't get into the aesthetics, zero sum game there.

I just saw this come up on my YouTube feed.
Fascinating comparison!

Coming from a previous generation M2, this pleases me because I lose nothing except rwd dynamics (this is actually a plus, given my use case) and I gain 2 extra doors.

Being a geek/nerd myself, I love his channel and his thorough explanation. Nice comparison to the G87 M2 that he just drove as well as to the A-Spec Integra.

Probably worth following for entertainment... although so far it has started out very civil (small sample size...)

https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2047064

People who actively choose the G87 are few and far between. I tried so hard to love the G87, and I just couldn't. It seems that now that it's been generally available for a while, the reception has been lukewarm at best.

That said, if I didn't need 4 doors who knows? Maybe I'd have given it another look.

As a forum member who currently owns both, I can say that the Integra definitely is on par with the M2. While the M2 is noticeably quicker, I actually enjoy driving the Integra more. It seems more balanced, spacious (for the kids) and the shifting is so precise like a scalpel. Both are amazing cars and it certainly would be a tough decision if I could only have one.

I feel like an auto M2 and the ITS would pair well together... but I can't get over how much more I like the F87.

Classy as hell, man. I have the same ITS with all the options. You're living the dream with these cars! I'm jealous.

I love his video and his takes on this. It just makes me chuckle to hear people referring to the regular A-Spec as "boring". I'm sure compared to an M2 or a Type-S, it is boring, but to the average person, I think an A-Spec or Civic Si are pretty exciting and fun cars. Just my 2c as an A-Spec Owner
