Just picked up my Integra yesterday. Was driving it around and right after 100 miles several warnings related to the brake system started popping up. Checked with my scan tool and got this code:
Acura Integra Wheel speed sensor issue 64E83DB8-C535-4288-BA53-3673FAE81FA7_1_105_c

Cleared it and drove up the road and it happened again. Scanned it again and got this one:
Acura Integra Wheel speed sensor issue F74C91A4-DCB7-415F-B69B-053B10A02134_1_105_c

Have an appointment set up for the dealership next week. Wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this issue and also to share my experience in case someone else comes along with this issue later.

I'm not sure, but that might be the error caused when a little too much grease/lube/something is applied near the sensor during assembly. If that's it, it's an easy fix.

I just got the myriad of brake/parking system errors when I put the car in reverse to back into my driveway earlier today.

Later, after a power cycle, it was fine for about 1/4 mile until I was sitting stopped at a traffic light and everything popped up again.

We'll see what happens when I leave work.

Mines at 1600 miles. Going to the dealer on Friday. Unfortunately, my scanner is too basic to even see what my code is, definitely suspecting a wheel speed sensor as all I have are a bunch of system errors with a normally driving car.

That sounds exactly like mine. I drove it about 1/4 mile before they popped up again after clearing them the first time. The car drives perfectly fine except features like ABS, hill start assist, cruise control, parking sensors, and drive modes are disabled. My appointment isn't until Saturday unfortunately. Please let me know what they say.

Well on my drive home from work, everything was cleared when I started (power cycle) the car. No errors whatsoever.

If I don't end up with the errors being repeatable, I know exactly what the dealership will say: "if we don't see an issue, we can't fix it."

We'll see how the rest of the week goes, but if it doesnt become consistent, I'll end up canceling my appointment since my closest Acura dealer is a 45 minute drive (one way).

Ive read in a few posts the dealer mentioning "grease from assembly" causing this. Obviously, not my case after 1600miles and washing the car every weekend. I may pull the front wheels off over the holiday to inspect the sensors. Assuming the sensors are magnetic pickup & tone ring, it should be fairly obvious if it is a debris issue.

Based on my experience with the car so far, however, as well as it triggering the warning while stopped I have a suspicion that this is software related. (I have had more than one problem with the head unit software acting up.)

Third time I got the issue today. Set the parking brake in my driveway and let the clutch out in neutral. The car apparently didn't like it.

If this is a reluctor ring and magnetic pickup issue, the only way this would be triggered is if erroneous readings were picked up at this time. A debris issue blocking the sensor cannot possibly cause this as it would cause missed readings while moving.

Still planning on the dealer visit and explaining this albeit a dumbed down version since none of the people I talk to would understand this level of technical explanation. I suggest anyone dealing with this explains the same. These cars have software issues likely from the push to market because corporate profits, yo!

Yep. My buddy who worked as a technician for Ford said the same thing. If it doesn't show up for them they'll just say they couldn't reproduce and give it back to you. I've driven it over 100 miles since it originally popped up and it has not gone off yet so seems like mine is a similar but not the same exact issue.

I plan on taking it to his house Friday evening and we'll put it on the lift to do a quick look over to see if there's anything obvious. My closest Acura is about a 40 minute drive but it's across a toll bridge :(

Well I went a full day and a half with no errors. Between 12 and 9pm today any time I started the car the error immediately showed up.

Hoping this trend continues into Friday so I can have an active error at the dealer and get something from them opposed to the "idk no error" response I'm used to from other mfgs.

On the bright side, the wife is happy were not going to the out of state dealer we got the car from (2:10 one way).

One would think that with the sophistication of the diagnostic systems on modern day cars, something like this would be logged somewhere the dealer could access.

How do you know this is logged?

Are the dealers truly adept to checking these logs?

I spent years as a tech in my early years and know it's very manufacturer dependent on which codes are stored and where as well as how little companies care if codes are not active.

I would please like an elaboration.

Thanks.

Any car I’ve ever scanned with my tool has easily accessible memory for recent codes.

At the dealer update: the car is saying the parking sensor/automatic emergency braking system is not initialized and will not initialize when they command it to.

My car is staying at the dealership until at least Monday. Service dept. at the dealership could not identify the issue and will be calling in the Acura (Honda?) Engineers on Monday.

They sent me home with a 2022 RDX A-Spec.
