Leg injury. I had to get something with 2 pedals.
RS3 would have been nice too but that's wayyy more than what I can afford lol

pros
- Exhaust pops, of course.
- Better seats imo. It's not as aggressively bolstered, but still comfortable.
- It's actually slightly heavier but much smaller in size
- Much better head unit
- Configurable drive modes
- Best automatic transmission I've experienced sub $50K
- Very quick and nimble especially in low speed. I'd say it feels quicker than the R in 1st and 2nd gear.
- Real TPMS
- It's more "fun" to drive.
- Has fun gimmicks like NGS(booster lol)
- Feels like a coupe in driver's seat

cons
- Garbage interior
- Dealership experience (both sales and service)
- Type R handles Much better.
- 3rd gear and up it's not as quick.
- Less practical than the R. It's a coupe with an extra door.
- The R has much better ride quality. Rear suspension doesn't do anything even in Normal mode.
- K20 feels and sounds much better, but just a personal preference.
- Their keyless entry is useless. No sensor behind the door handle, no auto-lock feature.
- Worse fuel economy. The N's fuel tank is larger tho.

- Not exactly about my car, but when I did test drive the 6MT when it first came out. One of the worst 6MT in the segment.
Interestingly, the rev match was actually better than the one in the type R.

Overall, it's a good car, especially for AT drivers.
However, my decision was solely because of the transmission.
Otherwise, I would have gone with something else. (or kept my Type R)
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. My wife has a 2021 Sorento SX-Prestige. Same 8 speed wet DCT. It is indeed amazing. I LOVE driving her car. The 2.5T is fantastic too. But that transmission is incredible.

Believe it or not I was actually cross shopping my X2 M35i with the Veloster N when I went get a new car. Reason as to why I choose the X2 over the Veloster N was that at the time a DCT wasn’t available and living in Florida with more and more traffic every day it was not a viable option. I loved the Veloster N design but the interior just seemed really cheap for me. Mind you I was coming out of the an Elantra GT 16’ that felt and looked more premium as it was a Euro based model. Heck it had heated and cooled seats with leatherette and pano sunroof plus 5 doors. So ultimately I choose the X2 as it had AWD, Automatic and usable back seats. It’s still a lifted Hatchback to me.

I saw the comments about BIG cars and I agree.............that's why I decided to keep my 2019 ILX and bought out my Lease. Yep it's one of the "modern" cars, but if I turn OFF all the Suite Nannies, it's pretty Basic and it's just the right size for me in Ft Lauderdale Traffic - same size as my 1987 BMW M5 and that was classified as a FULL Size Sedan back then - I've only got 16,000 miles on it, it's the NON-turbo K24V7 Engine with the 8-speed DC Auto - works for me and also quik enuf on Streets - made in USA....Trans made in Japan

Trust me, even the Accent has better interior than the Veloster lol

Lmao oh I bet it does. I have no clue how Hyundai said yes we’ll make a performance Verizon with the exact same interior as the base models.

2018 Civic Hatchback Ex. honestly not sure on this integra yet, was hoping for more but maybe the specs if released will change my mind. something like 225 HP and AWD in an aspec would definitely get my attention.

Looking forward to the integra. If it has SH-AWD and decent cargo space, it'll have everything I want.

Same as many others here...a 2018 Civic Sport Hatch. I absolutely love it. It's going to take an outrageously awesome car to make me want to switch. So far, neither the new civic hatch nor this new integra is it. An 11th gen CTR could be the one though. Or perhaps a Type-S.
