  1. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Why don't you add your car in the proper thread format (look at the first post) so we can list your failure. It's important to note what tune and mods you were running. I've been doing this a very long time (studying tune reliability) and 1,000 miles on an OTS tune should in no way cause a...
  2. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

No not really. I have a KTuner V2 but I don't leave my KTuner hooked up. I only use it for flashing tunes and running random datalogs from time to time. And there's a benefit to that... Just like you (for daily commutes), I use Map 1 for the most part. And like you I switch maps while driving...
  3. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

I mean, a lot of it depends on how you drive and how often you're pushing it in Map 3 as far as clutch longevity. There's no doubt though that Map 3 has some serious torque. Some people (myself included), do most of their commutes in Map 1 or 2, saving Map 3 for "special occasions". The great...
  4. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

The base KTuner tune has a more aggressive feel down low and fizzles out up top. It's designed to feel super lively in city driving. The Phearable tune is more linear top to bottom and does feel less torquey off the line. Basically, the KTuner base maps have most of the grin factor under 4000...
  5. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

I was looking at those numbers on the Phearable tune. Wow.
  6. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Thanks for posting that update. Congrats on the new ride!
  7. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Here's how I sum it up over and my long term CivicX tuning reliability thread: Which is my way of saying if you don't drive like a maniac and you maintain your car properly, tuning has proven to be quite safe overall.
  8. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Thanks for adding your car. Side note: For updates, it's better to add a new post to show more tuned miles driven, tune or mod changes etc... Otherwise if you go in and edit your original post, some of the info is overwritten and lost. This is the way I've been doing it for years at the other...
  9. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

100% this. I can't include his car in the stats the way he posted that and it doesn't help the community.
  10. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

@pho69 ... You'll notice the way John designs his tune is that it will feel more linear from top to bottom. Throttle response may feel a bit less "twitchy" but man, put your foot into it and you'll think there's a V6 under the hood.
  11. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Base tunes are decent. John Vega's (Phearable) off the shelf tune is much smoother and more potent up top.
  12. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Just a reminder to anyone in the community that's tuned. Please add you car to this thread in the format in the first post: Vehicle: Total tuned time: Tuned miles driven: Tuning device(s) used: Tunes used: Fuel used: Additional related mods: Problems/issues: Driving style: Tuning...
  13. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

So, I run tuning reliability threads here, at CivicXI and CivicX as well. I've driven a tuned 1.5Turbo CVT 10th gen for 6+ years. The CVTs in our cars have proven to be surprisingly robust. Basically, don't brake launch it and it'll hold up well. Honda OEM fluid is all your really need and...
  14. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

100% yes. An off the shelf or base map will be fine for that.
  15. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Guys, I've run the 1.5R Phearable tune for a long time on my 10th gen Civic. It's the best tune I've ever had and I've had a ton of different tunes and been tuned for almost 5 years total. Get your KTuner from Phearable, and get the tune thrown in free. Thank me later. Even Map 1 is far superior...

Thanks for adding your car. Definitely helps the community.
  17. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

Datalogs are something that are an included part of the KTuner (and Hondata) software. They are used to check out and make sure things are running properly.
  18. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

The base tunes while perfectly good with lots of options aren't as smooth or refined as the off the shelf tunes. The off the shelf tunes are mostly locked with less user adjustments. TSP and Phearable tunes are excellent. My personal preference is Phearable.
  19. The Tuned 2023+ Integra Experience & Reliability Thread

The Phearable tune is a single tune that contains 3 different maps. You change maps using the cc buttons (cruise control must be off) Map Switching Tutorial 1. Hold Cancel for a couple seconds 2. You'll notice the tachometer will change to map switching mode. (1,000 rpm represents map 1 --...
