Last year we got a few people together from the Civic XI forum (16 type Rs and 1 type S) at VIR in May and was an excellent day. We posted about it after the event and it seemed as if we did not advertise it enough lol, it really is just a day we pick and get as many type R and type s owners at the track. So this year we made a website for it to see if we can get more than 17 type Rs and Type S.

https://www.typertrackday.com/

All the info is there. Dates are May 22-24 again at VIR and again with Tidewater sports car club. You can register for the event on motorsport reg now if you have at tidewater membership ($45) or wait till end of February. Not affiliated with them, just a good org that runs a good event at a good track so we will tag along.

Sign up for the mailing list on the site (do check your spam, new account so likely go to spam and you have to click remove from spam and accept the mailing list) and I will email with updates and reminds and stuff. Can also follow the instagram @typertrackday and I will update it as well

Wether you been to the track or you wanted to take the type s to the track for the first time, this is the day(s), seriously a great time with great people.

You mean for numbers? Most tracks have you put numbers to differentiate cars/drivers. Magnetic ones can also work, but they sometimes do more damage than stick on. Depending on the club you go with they usually add on other requirements, like window stickers, to identify groups/experience levels and tech sign-off.

Typically if they require other decals (like some groups do for race series or instructors putting on an X) they will provide a vinyl sticker that comes off with zero residue.

i understand.. but i still ain't puttin shit on my car, for anybody or any reason. it's non-negotiable.

VIR is too far anyway honestly. i don't like to drive more than an hour or so in any direction. i'm trying to keep the mileage and wear on my car as low as i can while i have it.
