I've always been more function than form so, I try to go as light as I can on wheels/tires. I would have to imagine wider tires and wider wheels add weight and thus harm efficiency, but the difference between 8.5 and 9.5 weights and 245/265 weight wouldn't be high enough to sway me away from the latter of each. I like a balance of form and function these days
Some wheels do generally look better in 19" or 18" as well. I saw someone mention earlier that SW388/Regamasters look better in 18 vs 19, and I agree. So that's also a consideration.
But I'm willing to concede a little extra weight for a proper stance, at least to my tastes.
And since I made that post, I've looked at other wheels and honestly, I'm really digging Advan TC-4s and the much more expensive GT Beyond in Racing Copper. I fear I have found the wheel I'll have to save up to get, but they look really good in the renderings I've had made since seeing those for the first time, with the deeper copper tone against Liquid Carbon paint.
I still love CR Kiwami, but I think the cleaner lines of a 5 spoke suit the Teg A-Spec better; not sure I feel the same on the more aggressive ITS lines.
And on a much happier note, my new-to-me Integra LCM 6MT is on a delivery truck bound for my house. Just got a 2023 with 22k on it, last week, about 3.5 hours away from me through CarGurus.
