Good call on the GTI. Easy to get to 350 hp with that car. Of course, a clutch upgrade would be necessary, but still. My son just sold his and it was at least as quick as my tuned ITS.

Y'all are totally crashing out in here. There's going to be a bajillion L15 motors floating around, so someone might as well figure out how to maximize them.

people are already swapping the L15 into Miata’s and other cars too
semi closed deck. Pistons. Notched block. Bigger connecting rods and you’re all set to push to 400-450wtq (with a good bit of turbo lag I’m sure)
any more than that and I understand an oil pump upgrade will be necessary?
the L15 will overtake the old k20 and k24’s. Considering those are now a ton of money and harder to find
