Paint code for the shark gray wheels?

My wife nicked the wheel on her MDX Type-S with shark grey wheels. We got some OEM Acura touch up paint in the Modern Steel Metallic, and it matched pretty well. The guy at the dealer said they don’t have anything specific for the wheels, but that’s the best match they have to offer.

Just an idea not concrete. An automatic will make sense. Will drive up sale and is open to those who can’t drive stick

I know it's not ideal but the rim part# 42700-3S5-A81 is around $300 so if you hit it a few more times i think it's worth

Would this work for the 2022 RDX WHEELS with TECH PACKAGE? they aren’t as dark as the A-Spec but they are darker than regular silver wheels

Not too sure. My best recommendation is to call the dealer, see what they recommend, and also if the have it in stock. That’ll save you an extra trip.

I actually went to the dealer yesterday and they said there’s no such thing as touch up for the wheels and they didn’t recommend anything either. They told me to go to a body shop and get the wheel refinished. It’s such a small spot so that’s pointless.

I scraped a wheel on a very tight corner in my Integra a couple weeks ago - I had to get between the curb and a police motorcycle. The good news is I didn't hit the motorcycle. I found this thread and bought the modern steel metallic touch-up paint. I ended up with the honda part (08703-NH797MAH-A1) but it's the same paint code NH797M.

I just applied it. Looks to be a pretty good match for the shark gray wheels on the A-Spec, and for $20 I can't complain.
