So I will admit I’m an idiot when it comes to cars maintenance—just go by the manual service intervals and enjoy them.
So I was in the drive thru the other day and noticed this metallic jingling sound that you can’t miss from the videos—it developed out of nowhere—and could even hear it from the cabin. I come home and inspect further as you can see in the attached clips. I’m not talking about the normal ticking sound, but the metallic jingling sound if you listen closely. What could this be?
To make things more confusing, this sound is not as pronounced now—you can’t hear it from the cabin anymore. I’ve already made an appointment with Acura for Monday (takes about a week or so to get in) at the service department that I’m considering cancelling because I don’t want to waste their time if his was a one off issue that may be normal?
What do you think?
