New OEM Turbo Inlet on 2026 DE4 Integra

Saw this pic on facebook and hadn't seen this noted yet - looks like they eliminated the pancake turbo inlet pipe on the 2026 DE4 integra, more similar to the aftermarket designs:

I did replace it with this though, which I love

Pretty sure this part behind the coolant tank is unique to the CVT. It's why the CVT can't use the PRL coolant expansion tanks.. the coolant tank bracket is baked into this thing's mount.

Now just curious why this new intake pipe is only on the CVT and not MT

The USA Acura ADX has the 1.5t engine with a very similar inlet pipe as the original posters picture. I wasn't able to find a part number for the curved solid pipe that connects to the turbo.

Possible reason for the redesign. It has more resonators to quiet/change sound. The intake path is longer which usually gives more power in the low to mid range RPM. For a luxury-ish SUV, makes sense.

It want redesigned. I’ve seen both the 6MT and CVT engines and both have the pancake style inlet pipe

Adds more curiosity if backwards compatible with the de4

Wait! This looks like the pic I posted on facebook of my 2026 CVT Aspec Tech.. definitely looks like my garage (amazon package and my pump sprayer rinseless storage box in top left of the photo). I'm taking out the TIP this weekend, so I can let you know what it looks like after it's out.
