I had a
‘94 Toyota Celica- manual
‘04 accord - manual
‘07 Mazda Speed 6 - manual
‘16 Subaru Impreza - manual
‘19 Subaru WRX - manual
‘24 Acura Aspec Integra - manual

I was shopping for G37 convertible , but chose the Integra because of the 5 seats.

it’s a shame that the Type S or Type R civic only come with 4 seats!

Seat swap is the solution.

You can’t get insurance if you add your own 5th seat etc…

No issues obtaining insurance. Also if it's your family then your health insurance takes the brunt of an accident.
All the mounting points are available in the car for the fith seat.

VW doesn’t want to sell GTIs, they want to sell EVs. That’ll backfire on them of course.

Yes. Seatbelt shoulder strap is attached to middle seat. Buckle is shared with the passenger side rear just like the Aspec. Currently they have a dummy steel anchor that the seatbelt cloth buckle strap attaches to. Just toss that and replace it with the middle buckle. Both share a common bolt.
