Looking for suggestion for M14x1.5 black lock nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat). These are for my winter wheels.

When I search, I almost only get lock nuts that are made for trucks, so they are super long (more than 1.5"). I bought some last year on ebay, but after one winter, they are already super rusty (I live in the rust belt...).

Looked at McGuard (same as OE locks): they have some, but super long, so they'll poke out a lot. (examples: kit #25116, which is 1.648" long or kit #24216 which is 1.639" long)

Any suggestion? Don't need lugs, already have them. Just a pack of 4 black locks.

I've been using the Kyo-ei Bull Lock set but in black for my aftermarket wheels

https://www.blackhawkjapan.com/prod...87GXUzD3_7ixqAPyuj_rbxIh2fxqbM0beVYssKXCnbgO4

The pricing is pretty close that I'd recommend buying the full set but if you want just the locks:

Thanks for the info!

Any experience with these with harsh winters vs rust?

Not for winter, unfortunately. They're on my summer wheels.

I know it's marketing but the description does mention an anti-rust plating

â—Ź Durable ultra-hardness material SCM435 forging! â—Ź anti-rust effect 30 micron plating thickness!

Yeah, the ebay ones also mentioned this. Clearly it was not really the case...

I'll wait to see if others have suggestion. Worst case, I'll try them and see if what they say is true or not!

FWIW, Kyo-ei makes all the Project Kics lug nuts and I believe some Rays ones too. I want to say they're the OEM supplier for certain manufacturers as well.

Let us know what you find!

I have a set of the black Ball Seat ones for my OEM rims. They make Conical Seat for aftermarket rims. I suggest you contact them and see if/when they have stock, really friendly!
