r Hit a garbage can going to park earlier today. Would’ve loved if it just folded in like it should’ve but oh well. The painted mirror cap and bottom black piece still fit around it and click in, but the swivel or base plate that holds it up and rotates it snapped. Do i need the full assembly kit for around $300 or can one of the cheaper options work? There were some 2023-2025 oem mirrors but I don’t think they had the blind spot assist and other features. I just want it to match the carbon metallic still and keep the sequential turn signals and i’m fine re painting it on my own or just swapping the original plastic over. What’s the best option here?
As long as the wires aren't damaged you may be able to swap the good parts over to another mirror assembly, though you will need to de-pin the connector to feed the wires back through where it rotates. You might check car-part.com or LKQ to see if they have any reasonably priced used mirrors.
If you can find one with some damage where yours is not, that may be your cheapest option
Might be a great time to upgrade to power folding mirrors. If you don't want those, you can probably post here or in the 2023+ Integra Facebook group and see if anyone who has upgraded to them has their original mirrors available for sale. Just keep in mind there may be differences in the passenger mirror between the different trims. In particular, the A-spec tech has 2 extra plastic pins for the mirror positioning, and possibly a different connector (compared to the Type S at least, I'm not sure about the lower trims).
