Hello! I want to put an exhaust on my 2025 Acura Integra A spec (CVT </3) I am bone stock and would like to make the exhaust my first mod.
- What i really want is the exhaust to burble
- however i also don't want too much drone and would also like the exhaust to be CARB approved.
I have been researching but i wanted to ask other people and their opinions and see what options and choices i have, thank yall help would be greatly appreciated!
(i am new to forums so i apologize if i mess this up somehow)

Look for youtube videos (or videos on the product listing) that demo how the exhaust sounds, that'll probably be the best gauge.

Also you can test out your stock burbles - put it in S drive mode and manual shifting. Say you're at a light/at a stop, on go bring it up to 3500rpm or so then shift up to 3rd and ease off the throttle.

I did downpipe, front pipe, and exhaust at the same time, so I can't really tell ya what just the exhaust will do. I liked the sound on the PRL N1 and the Thermal R&D, but I went with the N1 exhaust.

Why look for a carb legal exhaust when all those PRL parts are not carb legal though (except the intake soon)

I would do an axle back exhaust to be the most CA friendly! I'd just do a regular catback exhaust with the PRL stuff, worry about smog in 6 years, enjoy it til then.

We can help with the PRL and exhaust choices.

the main thing with the burbles is to do with tune. Yes a different exhaust can help but for the burbles its dumping fuel in the exhaust which is why your hear the pops and bangs. TBH i wouldn't think just changing the exhaust on your car will do it as reliably.
I would look at Hondata, and get into a flex tune of some kind.

I just got the AWE touring exhaust with the black tips installed a few days ago and it sounds great. very low droning issues, more of a lower "mature" sound that's not too loud. You definitely get more accentuated burbles and pops in sport and sport+ mode vs stock. It's also CARB certified legal in all 50 states

HOWEVER...
I'm currently having issues with mine as there is a "whooomp" or trombone noise around 1500-2500 RPMs which is really annoy to me in the cabin. I'm currently talking with AWE customer service to address the issue. Yes, I understand there are resonating noise to be expected but this is abnormal. Anyways, if i get the issue resolved I would recommend it. AWE has videos on youtube installed on an integra type S if you want to hear noise comparison.

if you're looking for other parts in regard to your exhaust system. PRL's intercooler and High volume intake are also CARB certified.

UPDATE: My AWE touring exhaust is now fixed and working well! AWE has excellent customer service. Told them my issue, they sent me a new muffler and it works perfectly now! Sent the old part back free of charge.

I highly recommend them.
