91 or higher " recommended " i have had Acura's for 20 years, have used all kinds of fuel ( 87-89-91-93 )
& have never had any problems, even the 2002 TL type S ran on 87 with no issues & 220,000 miles, the modern
honda's ( and most cars ) will adjust the timing & you'll never know anything, i'm sure for max performance 91-93

Use of a gasoline with a pump octane less than 87 can lead to engine damage.
