fuel mileage at 4K miles

So I normally have short drives and mostly city driving with the occasional detour to the highway so I can do a few pulls but this week I had to travel for work so my first road trip in which I filled the tank up twice in two days..
so since my break in period ended, I am usually getting about 18-20 MPG's for the last 3k miles until this real road trip..
to my suprise.. you can see by the difference in the odometer this averaged during my almost roundtrip 400mile trek.
note: MOST of the drivng was in comfort mode with cruise set at 65mph on 2 lane backroads. MPG went down to about 29.7 with cruise set at 76 on freeway.
I am impressed.

What octane fuel do you get in the Southeast?

93 is readily available at most gas stations around here so that is all I use.

I wish 6th was a taller gear. My highway speeds are much higher so 24-25mpg is the best I'll see on my daily commute

That's quite impressive. I'm lucky to see much above 25 on highway drives (although I mostly have the engine in Sport+ for the sound). Was the road mostly flat for you, and you weren't drafting behind any semis?

Two lane backroads heading Into the foothillls so for the most part fairly flat. No drafting however I did pass cars that I came up on that were slower than my cruise set. So downshifted to dotted yellow line pass about 12 cars or so during the trip.
