It's definitely cracked on the top of the box. Yes, I know I'm missing a screw on the MAF sensor lol. Im keeping the engine stock until I get my type S for now. I will miss the turbo sound dearly.

Yes. There are specific paints for engine bay plastics, and you have to know what you're painting to ensure they're compatible.

I've painted plastic valve covers before when doing rebuilds to good success. They've last 3+ years under intense heat.
