From what I can tell, the installer of my Borla exhaust didn’t reuse the OEM front pipe gasket as the installation instructions say, but most likely used the PRL gasket I had on the PRL front pipe. I gave them the OEM round gasket and told them to use it. Does anyone know if it makes a difference? The Borla front pipe was designed to use the round gasket and not a triangular one. Seems minor, but maybe it matters.

PRL has a high volume exhaust adapter that goes between fp and exhaust - did you look at using that? Just a thought

Is that different than the one that comes with the PRL frontpipe? Pretty sure that’s the one that’s on there.

Ah sorry, was thinking of the adapter for the 1.5t 3in exhaust/fp.

Looks like 2.0t fp comes with both/you can use either shape. You should hear it hissing if not sealed.
