8 allocations for one dealership? Wow. I hope other dealerships around the country will be getting more but not holding my breathA dealer I talked to in California said they’re getting 8 ITS by the end of next month

a dealer in VA said their next 2 ITS coming in the next month or soAny word on build dates for the white/ebony?
I was shocked too, but he seemed pretty confident in that number, and also I don't think he would lie about it because it would mean nobody would pay the markup on the demo unit he has now.8 allocations for one dealership? Good luck! I think that lines up with what my dealer stated as well. Did they quote your a transit time beyond 2-4 weeks?Received a message from my sales guy and according to his GM my LCM "should" be loaded to the train for CA on July 21st. That is the only information I got. Nothing about production being on hold or anything. So I guess I'll have to till end of the week for any meaningful update. At this point I'm afraid to even be optimistic ?
They told me it takes at least 3 weeks for transit so I’m thinking of an early to mid August delivery assuming this actually happens lolGood luck! I think that lines up with what my dealer stated as well. Did they quote your a transit time beyond 2-4 weeks?
Take a look at their management team...IDKNo kidding. A company that builds > 4 MILLION cars a year runs a tickmaster-esque shitty promo for 200 measly cars, throws those buyers to the mercy of the dealers for mark-ups on their pre-orders, and 2 months later has only managed to deliver a fraction of THOSE cars with no rhyme or reason as who gets one and when.
Even more stupid from a business standpoint, they push demos out to dealers to create buzz and excitement and here we are a couple days before the mandatory 1 month holding period with most of these dealers no doubt punting the demos out after this weekend. How much "buzz" does that create other than for people still waiting for their pre-orders or who were already on a list for a car they don't seem to be able to produce and no dealer will have one to look at through the end of year at least?
They projected selling 36,000 Integras a year with 10% being Type S's. That translates into 700-800 Integras built per WEEK, possibly more since they don't build 52 weeks a year. Happy to be proven wrong in the coming months but it's not a very impressive launch for a company that's been doing this for a long time. They should worry more about getting them built and in people's driveways than getting 100 social media "influencers" to swoon over the car.
Maybe the Problem is more with Acura, they are the marketing firm for this car, but it is made by Honda. No kidding. Awesome! I'm in Stl area. If I hear any more news I'll post like usual. At this point I wouldn't doubt if they sent both yours & @ZeroGSR to the coast before 6 hours away but we'll see.
