Took my oem spoiler off because it was peeling like many others. Went through a pain in the ass getting the spoiler off with the zip ties, and getting the tape off- want to make sure I’m doing this the best I can. I got a Bauer sander and 600 grit disc, also used scotch pad and got it as smooth as I can. The peeling spots feel slightly different like not as glossy, but not catching my nail on any transitions or anything.

Sand as little as possible. Trying to avoid scraping down to the carbon fibers. When a fiber is cut it will fray, lifting up making it impossible to get a smooth surface.

I got it the best I could, and sprayed, waiting to Cure.
Did notice rust on the holes they drilled, they painted but not well enough. What should I do here?

Remove the rust (completely, you might need to remove a bit more paint), then touch up paint (let it dry), then anti-rust grease before installing the spoiler back.
