Okay, so I started tackling the install today (after having second thoughts for few days). Got the door panels removed and then realized the my socket isn't deep enough so will have to go buy another one in the morning.

In the mean while I assembled the windows switch console. Added the window auto lifter model and replaced the mirror switches. Kit also came with the window switches, which are identical to the one I already have (same part number), so there any reason to use Mikstore one?

So after many hours (more than i thought it would take), I got everything to work except for the reverse tilt.

When i put the vehicle in reverse the mirror only tilts slightly. If i shift to neutral and back to reverse, it tilts more. I can continue doing that and it will continue to try to tilt even when it reached the max. It does not go back to normal when sifted back. Have to manually move the mirror back via switch.

I have double checked the wiring but couldn't figure it out. Any suggestion?

Edit:
I noticed that if I keep the car in reverse and toggle the side mirror switch from left to right, it tilts the mirror similar to as described above.

I got a separate reverse tilt module from Mikstore (before they had the Model F kit) which had the same issue with only partially tilting. What I found was that if you hold the down arrow just before shifting into reverse, and keep it held until it's at the point where you want it, that sets the position. Not sure if it'll be the same with the Model F but worth a shot. It was a pain to get it exactly perfect so it may take a few tries, but for mine I've never had to adjust it after setting it the first time.

After exchanging messages wtih MikStore customer service, i figured out the issue and I had the wires connected incorrectly on the gray plug (since there was no mention of their position on the instructions)

Thank you for the info. Will give it a try as the mirror does not go as low as I would like it at the default setting.

For anybody following, I completed the install. Took me almost three days... some due to my one insecurity and some because the instructions weren't complete.

Few things I learned....

- There was no mention of replacing the mirror bases in the instructions and it took me a while to do that because I was trying to be extra careful not to scratch the painted parts or break tabs.... though I did end up breaking one.

- Bottom of the gasket need to be cut in order to get the harness through or if you have the experience, you can depin the connectors.

- If you get the kit with reverse tilt, you will have to take out the white plastic thingy from the right mirror as it already has one installed. It requires some force to get mirror on so make sure to push equally on all sides.

- The retainer (white plastic thingy) on the driver side is different from OEM housing and the retaining posts are very small (unlike the factory ones). When installing make sure that the white pole notches match with the mirror otherwise if you push, they will get damage. Also, this mirror requires significantly more force to snap in.

- When wiring the kit, check the colors and positions 5 times and when you are sure you get it right.... check few more times before pushing them into the connector. It is NO FUN trying to depin the wires. Took me a very long time to get 4 wires out and in the process i ruined the connector as well. On the plus side those pins were unused.

- Make sure that wires go all the way in and click. I had to couple of wires that came loose when I rechecking my connections when thing weren't working.

- Wiring harness that came from Mikstore are taped together for left and right door (not features like reverse tilt, folding mirror etc.) that threw me off for the longest time as the instructions are for separate features so are not identical to the instructions provided.

Thank you everyone who helped in answering questions specially @CatBus

Were you able to get the reverse tilt you work properly?
Yes, I did.

I had to the wires connected incorrectly and after reaching out to their Mikstore and providing pictures to them, they pointed out the issue. Took me a while to depin the wires and install them correctly but now everything is working.

Good to hear. So it tilts all the way now when you put the car in reverse?
