I am looking for a cooler for the CVT on my 2023 ASPEC. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for them. I know the heat of the CVT is a weak point and I do not want to go for a spirited drive and have it end badly

Most of the folks I've talked to about them say that they're somewhat excessive / a rare circumstance that an upgraded transmission fluid cooler would be "necessary" for the CVT outside of pretty hot climates (same with radiator upgrades such as the CSF).

But in doing the same research I really only found the Mishimoto universal transmission fluid cooler options. However, it might not be a simple bolt on...

I believe the DE4 CVT has a stock transmission fluid cooler integrated into the radiator - haven't looked into how the CSF radiator addresses this, but for the stock radiator I assume you'd be sending the hot transmission line to the Mishimoto cooler which then flows back into the radiator.

I'm waiting for my intercooler upgrade kit to come in and I also have the Acuity reverse flow radiator hoses to install, but since it's all in the same area I may look into it further (thinking that more cooling can't hurt).

Also consider - the transmission fluid cooler would mount in front of the radiator, so unsure what (if any) inefficiencies that creates.

Found one guy on the tuning thread that said he had one on a cvt, but he never posted details on it/no one asked about it. I think the user name was A129n or something like that.

I did the intercooler upgrade so I had the front bumper off... stock, it looks like there was a fluid cooler mounted in front of radiator which takes up all of the space above the intercooler. When you peer through the grill you're actually looking at that and not the radiator. I looked at it for a bit, and it wasn't 100% certain, but would assume its a pretty large transmission fluid cooler. It was hot as hell outside that day so I didn't linger on it very long Lol

Was thinking about messaging that guy that posted about it in 2023/2024
