I'm having trouble with stuff rolling around in the back. Has anybody put in a cargo net? It doesn't look like there is one from Acura, would the Civic hatchback one fit?

I got the OEM one for the Integra that attaches to the panel that’s inside of the rear bumper, but I haven’t had the chance to install it. It’s a little bit more involved than I thought since you have to use a rivet gun/tool.

$40

That's the cargo net that goes against the back wall. I'm talking about the cargo net that is horizontal that holds stuff against the cargo floor.

You don't actually need the rivet gun tool. I installed the Acura cargo net, including the rivet nuts, using the method I found in this link:. https://www.spyderindustries.com/blogs/news/diy-how-to-install-nut-inserts-rivet-nuts

It ended up being really easy.

I figured there was an easier DIY way. I need to tackle the install this weekend.

Thanks!!

Please tell me about removing the rear trim panel. I'll probably need to get behind it to install my trailer wiring. I tried looking at the install instructions for the cargo net, but it wasn't much help.
Remove the weather stripping, then there are 4 clips holding the trim piece in place. They are oriented vertically and point down, and are all spaced pretty evenly along the tip of the trim piece. They are this type of clip:

I just pulled out the panel about 30 mins ago. The trick is to pull up and towards the front a bit. Once the clips pop out, there’s a few tabs near the bottom edge. Tile the cargo floor cover to help you get the panel removed.

I’m about to see if I have a bolt/washer/locking washer somewhere so I can install the rivet. If not, off to Home Depot.

Here’s a quick pic of how it looks. Pretty useful for keeping things from rolling/sliding around.

I bought the cargo organizer and really love it for grocery/shopping bags. easy to install and can collapse when not in use.
