Fastyorker2, you are correct. My ex dealer never discussed pricing but said all dealers have the same pricing and then took my deposit.

I believe you're referring to burrard acura. I phoned them to ask and their sales manager told me straight up they're not selling with anything less than 10k accessories and that their internet pricing was just a base reference and they don't have to honor it. So I said OK what stops you from adding more accessories after I hang up with you and on my way down to the dealership. He was like well nothing and it's within our rights to do so if someone else is willing to pay higher.

I don't know how they manage to sell any type s. That or there's enough ppl with $$$ to buy them. 70k for typs s is a stretch. Which sort of makes no sense that if you have 90k cad to spend, there definitely better cars at that price, ct4 blackwing comes to mind.

Yes sir you are correct. And more or less what he said to me when I went in to "finalize" pricing about how they can add whatever they want as it is a niche car with a line up of enthusiasts waiting to pay more.

He showed me the paper work on his computer screen of the one that went for over $90K which may or may not be real. The car was in the sales bay waiting to be picked up and it did have everything from carbon fiber package, bronze wheels (extra here in Canada) and that large bulky dashcam that he tried to convince me was state of the art best dashcam ever.

I'm just happy you snagged it from them through Langley before Burrard got to sell it.

Vancouver is indeed flooded with those who have excess cash sitting in their sock drawer.
