  1. Bad PPF install?

Hope this turns out well at the end for you man. It sucks to put your trust and money down and have it turn out not the way you expect or wanted to. Wish you the best. All you can do is it turns sour is drag the shops name through the mud on any forum you can get your hands on lol.
  2. Bad PPF install?

I got a front end ppf at a local shop that's a xpel authorized installer. It's a pre cut wrap I was told and 10 months in now with no edge issues. When I first picked up, thing looked spotless and i cant tell there was ppf there. I can feel the edges like around the bumper integra logo but no...

I believe you're referring to burrard acura. I phoned them to ask and their sales manager told me straight up they're not selling with anything less than 10k accessories and that their internet pricing was just a base reference and they don't have to honor it. So I said OK what stops you from...

Ah, yea, anything under 4k is hard to get pops. You might grt some if you hold the revs up for like 3-5 seconds min and drop throttle but it won't be anything loud or big in my experience in my car. Cooling in this car during normal driving is pretty good, I don't track the car and haven't...
  5. Canada ordering

I have a my25 and I noticed that unless the car is warmed up, burbbles don't happen. And after a warm up, only certain throttle conditions puts out pops and bangs. Learning to do it makes it funner IMO. Now I can do it on upshift and downshift under certain conditions.

Congrads and welcome to the blue white combo! You're gonna love it.
  7. New owner here!

Thanks Stan. I'm more concerned it about not being powered off and slowly draining the battery overtime rather than it staying on you know :).
  8. New owner here!

@stan23 Does the Fitcam auto power down when you shut off the car or does it stay powered on or perhaps in a low power mode?
  9. Who made the jump from A-Spec 6MT to Type-S?

I don't track my car or anything like that and i wanted to preserve the stock suspension geometry as best i can so i ordered a set of 18x9.5 ET 60 from Allibaba (i know i know :D). For tires i got a set of pirelli Pzero AS plus 3. For just city driving, they're definitely a lot quieter than the...
  10. First winter drive in my 25 Type S

Ain't that the truth and honestly not condition dependent either. Anything you can do from equipment, settings to skill to improve the latter is what matters the most in driving IMHO.
  11. Wiper Blades...

Can't agree more on the last part. At the risk of taking over the thread, this is where we failed as society, generating unnecessary garbage b/c it makes someone an extra 2 cents or an engineer is too lazy or not given time to put thought into a design.
  12. Who made the jump from A-Spec 6MT to Type-S?

@ScottE I selfishly want you to decide on a ITS and I honestly hope you'll get to love whatever color you end up with. I have an APB but when i see other colored (not shades) ITS on the forum, i always go, wow, that doesn't look bad at all. It's probably easier to get your choice of color in the...
  13. Who made the jump from A-Spec 6MT to Type-S?

I have to be honest, i did exactly as you described with the chuckle and smirk as i lobbed that grenade :D. As a shady car salesman would tell you, you've worked hard all your life and you've earned the right to treat yourself to something nice. I got an apex blue with the white interior, i...
  14. Who made the jump from A-Spec 6MT to Type-S?

I want to play the devil's advocate and say why listen to your logical brain. You can always get a fun to drive m/t car from the used market. But what other time will there be another car like the ITS available for your fresh and new. Manual fun to drive "affordable-ish" car party could go on...

That's sucks man, but was it worth it in your opinion?
  16. TPMS Question

Just want to update in case anyone else is wondering, P/N 42753-T3R-A04 for the base integra will work in place of 42753-T6N-E03. The only difference is A04 is a rubber stem vs the metal stem on the E03. I bought a set of the A04 for my winter setup and it updated itself within 10 min of...
  17. Canada ordering

I guess it really depends on where you are in Canada and who you're dealing with. Timing seems to ve everything. Me and another guy in this forum got our 25 ITS from the same dealer. He waited for like a year on a list and I waited 3 months between deposit and delivery 🤷‍♂️. At least in the...
  18. TPMS for second set of wheels

Thank you for that "just the right amount" of detailed explanation. Much appreciated. 👍 I have a set of 18x9.5 rims coming for my winter set up (probably 265/35 tires) and i'll definitely keep this in mind when pressuring those up.
  19. TPMS for second set of wheels

Hi. If you would excuse my lack of knowledge and please explain why a smaller wheel diameter while keep the same (ish) overall wheel diameter/circumfrance would need or require a lower tire pressure? And how does load rating also affect tire pressure? I just don't know to much and trying to...
  20. Canada ordering

For what it's worth I waited like 2 months between deposite and delivery. Got mine may end of May this year. I've heard worse though.
