Has anyone figured out or heard of a way to manually shift the Integra CVT into its true tallest gear while in S mode using the paddle shifters? I'm not asking about the 7th simulated gear that S mode gives you, but the actual tallest gear ratio that the CVT uses when it is automatically shifting in D mode.
For those who might not know, you can "shift" the CVT between 7 simulated gears in S mode with the paddle shifters, but if you just go into D mode and let the car do its thing, it will shift into a taller gear ratio for highway cruising. This hidden extra gearing yields an extra 2-3 mpg on the highway, but forces one to use D mode instead of being able to do it manually.
