I have finished the break in and rev it above 5 grand and to my Suprise there is a loud sound like a bee on steroids that sounds like it is behind the instrument panel. it seems to start at 5k revving up and disappears below 4700 throttling down. And is reproduced every time in all gears.
Here is a video of the sound but it sounds a lot louder in the car than on the video.. (crappy little camera)
I am really not happy about this and clueless on what it is, but I do know that it should NOT make this sound.
any real help appreciated.

very hard to hear anything out of the ordinary. sounds fine to me.

I have one little metallic rattle coming from the backseat or hatch area at certain rpm's but otherwise nothing seems out of whack for me.

Can't determine anything from the video, but this topic comes up quite a lot. There are many like it, but this one is mine:

Apparently happens to everybody.

FWIW, I ended up tucking my emotions about the sound in a little corner of my mind where childhood trauma goes (right next to the clown from Poltergeist), and lo and behold I don't notice it hardly at all anymore.

Also I do truthfully believe it's gotten quieter over time. In fact I can't remember the last time I noticed it... I also have properly broken in this car over the last 2000 miles with several autocross and track events, and at least half a dozen backroads drives.
