Got my Type S back in November. Love it. Every day is a thrill and exhilarating. Type S baby!!!!

I need more horse power. Was looking at the Two step performance website and it's kinda confusing. To upgrade, you have to do tuning. To tune, you need to unlock. To unlock, you need to ship out ECU.

So i was thinking of getting the Stage 1 kit bundle.

Stage 1 Bundle:
ECU Unlock
Hondata FlashPro Mini (FL5/DE5)
TSP Stage 1 Tune (FL5/DE5)
PRL High Volume Intake

My question is, if I get the kit, do I still need to ship out the ECU?

Another thing. To me, one of the best feature of the ITS is the active exhaust. I would like to them hit harder, louder, and longer pops and bangs. Can this be done on stock exhaust. Are there any aftermarket exhaust that still retain the active exhaust feature?

What are your thoughts on these mods? Are there other options?

Get a downpipe. If you get a custom tune you can select more pops.

Yes you will still need to ship out your ECU, unless you can physically make it out to a tuner that offers an ecu unlock service.

Tune it up! Everybody needs wheelspin in third gear, LOL!

Just kidding. I may get there one day also. For now, the JB4 is plenty good. 350-ish whp and tq. on 93 octane.

I know you can dial back boost by gear with a tune. It will sure make your 50-120mph quicker...

I've seen videos where they have meets and sometimes Hondata or someone shows up and will flash or jailbreak your ecu while you wait, this is what I am hoping to do at some point as I don't want to pull it and ship it, I would rather go to a shop or meet and have them set me up so I can drive away after.

And why wouldn't you? Not everyone wants to race but it's better to be safe than be a loser!

I don't have too much wheelspin either unless the tires are cold and or the pavement is a bit choppy. I can easily brake traction in first and second gear with the piggyback tune, but I don't have boost dialed down in 1st or 2nd either. I could do it, but I just take it a bit easier on the throttle.

Tuned and only have wheelspin in 1st. stock tires (assuming decent road/above 50 deg).
