Just got this car little over a month ago and the paint is already chipping in the corner of the taillight and the driver side door rubbing against the fender noticed the door when I was handwashing it and looked around the car later in the day and saw the taillight

I had that door paint problem on my ITS. Dealer paid to have the fender moved a bit forward so it doesn't make contact with the door when you open it...

That's rough. Mine came with a lot of paint defects and issues, but nothing with body contact like that. I still have a panel gouge that was likely done at factory or during load/unload with a strap.

I agree that needs to be dealer addressed. I wouldn't let them just paint it and call it a day though. They need to identify why you've got body contact and paint scoring/chipping like that.

Went to the the dealership collision repair center today made a claim and is being sent up to big Acura. After looking at the door the driver side fender gap was a lot closer than the passenger side by a lot didn’t hear/feel scrubbing when getting in and out of the car. As for the bumper I don’t really see a reason why the paint would have cracked on the passenger side taillight corner photo4 and lift up a bit in the middle of the driver side photo 5

It was probably just poor handling at the factory. It's on areas facing inside and not facing out, so it's unlikely it's something YOU did or some contact occurred.

It's much more likely the surface was contaminated before painting or someone haphazardly threw on the lights as the paint was in the first week or two of cure. Given my paint and build experience, I'd bet it's a combo of both. This car rivals my old wrx for paint chipping. I got ppf done at about 100 miles and never followed anyone within 200 feet during those first 80 I put on the car... Still had a dozen chips, a gouge in one panel, and when they relaid some ppf on the black gloss section, it ripped off chunks of paint. Ppf has paid for itself already.
