I have a 2025 Integra A-Spec Tech (manual). I'm noticing that the auto start/stop feature temporarily stops working when the car is starting to get low on fuel (range 70-80 miles). Anybody else notice this? Is that normal? Doesn't it seem counterintuitive? Or is it because starting an engine consumes more fuel than the few extra seconds of idle?

I am forever thankful that they did not include this feature in the Type S. I had a Porsche with it, and I turned it off and forgot about it, suggest you do the same.

I just recently got the car and don't mind it. Actually appreciate it in some ways. If I get ever get sick of it I'll disable it. But not there now. In any case just looking for an answer.

It does disable it with low fuel or engine not being up to temp and other factors. I would recommend disabling though because the auto stop start does not actually save on gas and is very hard on engines, especially turbo charged ones. Turbos need a spool down time before they are shut off otherwise you risk early failure. I also recommend that you should idle your car for a minute when you park to let the turbo wind down and oil to flow out a little.

Hate it even on the CVT, feel like it throws off transmission oil pressure. There's a fluid pump on the transmission that's supposed to keep that pressure constant during auto start/stop, but sometimes it totally lags.

I toggle it off every time I drive, perhaps I should check if there's a permanent setting Lol. Only thing that comes to mind is the sport mode or setting it in individual mode.
