$6 Rear Rotors on RockAuto

Rockauto has CarQuest rear rotors on clearance for $6 a piece.

I was going to order them along with new pads but they won't ship the rotors to CA.

I appreciate the offer but I think I'm good.

So I took off my wheels during my lunch break and measured out the rear rotors at 10.69mm with 12k miles. I think they come from the factory at 11mm and the minimum is 8mm so I'll probably be good for quite a while.

Got to double check the dealer's brake change rec too and I think they might have been trying to push a sale. I had 2mm more meat on my pads than they wrote on my Inspection Report. Also kinda interesting that Acura decided to throw on German Ate brake pads in this car, never had a rear pad eat away this fast, the Ate's I put on my parent's Mercedes last forever, these rear pads are eating away like they're made of butter .

When it rains it pours, while I was taking the tire off I also found ANOTHER screw in the same tire that had the last screw, at least this one isn't in the sidewall. Pulled both out and did the spray test...they aren't leaking, I wonder what kinda crazy tech Michelin put in the rubber to make them such invincible screw magnets.

Yeah that was what my plan was too, the price is just too good and I've never had a problem with CarQuest parts. It costs me $50 to resurface a pair of rotors at O'Reilly at this price its better to just swap them out.
