Forgive me for my ignorance, but how does it work? Do they send you a steering wheel or do you ship yours to them?

Ohh. That makes sense. And if course you're going to insert your airbag in a well. Correct?
I got a heated one from them. I emailed Emily and was able to customize it exactly how I wanted it. Stitching color, flat bottom, leather color, perforation, carbon, etc. I want to say it took about 4 weeks from start to finish, and that included their break for the Chinese New Year.

The only thing they send you is the wheel core (and front trim if you go with the carbon fiber bits). You transfer everything else (airbag, spring clips holding in the airbag, buttons, wiring, and rear trim (and front black/silver trim if you don't go with the carbon and want to keep the A-spec/Type-S logo)) from your original wheel.

If you go with a heated wheel, the one caveat is you'll need to also buy Acura's accessory heated wheel and transfer all the heating parts over. This is obviously more expensive, but it was worth it for me since Acura's heated wheel only comes with black stitching and no perforation (I wanted to keep it as close to Type S OEM as I could).

Instructions are pretty straightforward and there's a post somewhere on IntegraForums if you search for 2024 accessory installation manuals. Look for either the heated steering wheel one or the alcantara wheel one.

The TTDCraft wheel is noticeably thicker than Acura's OEM wheel but you get used to it within a week or two.
