absolutely - HOWEVER - it's interesting to see that a few dealerships are repeating similar things ... May orders, June deliveries, 200 units at launch ... may not be 100% but should mean we are at least very close to the car hitting lots! the rest, we'll see.
then get a golf R. I’d argue that the Golf R makes up for other engineering shortcomings by adding these things. But yes.. for some folks, that will be the way to go!
Valid points. Reality is that people value different things and can’t make everyone happy every time. Personally, sunroof take up headroom for a helmet so that’s why I’m against them. My favorite seats are manual bc they’re so much faster (my wife is 5’4” and I’m 6’3” and our memory seats...
tough crowd regarding the small details of this car. i do think the positives outweigh the negatives. especially if that MSRP stays closer CTR territory as someone mentioned. I think that's a bit too optimistic and am expecting mighty close to $50k after destination. $50k missing a lot of...
I don’t know the measurement on my Si, tbh…. But it’s close and if I got a little too fast it scrapes a touch. If this is a smidge lower I can probably just come at a slight angle and remedy the lowness.
Thanks!
the M3 was capable but not engaging --- especially after I test drove the (then brand new) 6th gen camaro SS ... which eventually got traded for SS1LE (x2) which is still my favorite performance/$ track car that is a great daily (that magnetic suspension is smoooooth). the camaro was wayyyy...
it's only marginally better. don't be mad. i fell out of love with an F80 because there wasn't enough exhaust and went to V8 camaros for a while. my GT4 sounds way better than the M3 did but still not nearly as good as the SS1LE imo. also realize that there will NEVER be a perfect car in...
Wife finds the CTS4 V Blackwing gross. I'd fight her for a CTS5 V Blackwing with manual but since i already have a "track car" ... the CTS5 is too much cash to tie up in a fun daily ... the 4V Blackwing is a really GOOD car but doesn't excite me. M3 is where i'd go for sub $100k manual car for...
value aside ... for some folks the manual is non-negotiable. i was thinking about that this morning ... how an RS3 could be on the table for $60-65k (although probably also hard to find). but that manual is what really makes the drive for me. even a casual and low-speed drive is fun with a...
i've never driven an M2, much less an M2CS, but i really liked the seats in my F80 M3s i had. just the right amount of bolstering and support. That new M2 seems like a good car but i suspect you'll hold onto that M2CS .... forever?! that's probably pretty close to peak modern BMW for fun...
yeah - that guy seemed 100% there would be a moonroof. maybe trolling, maybe just wrong. bummer for the folks who were hoping (willing?) one to be available. i'm very happy without a sunroof. more space for a helmet is the main reason ... less weight up high is nice although i think most of...
seems like more Acura dealerships honor the MSRP than Honda. But I’m sure some still feel that “all is fair in love and war”.
call around and don’t waste your time with people playing games. Also, I’ve had pretty good luck with the internet sales managers. They seem to be more seasoned and...
Agreed. I Paid $2k over for an Si last year bc it seemed minimal. Still didn’t like it. Paid $XX,000 over for a GT4 but figured it would be last shot at a manual, NA GT4. Felt stupid but worth it, might get some of that back if I sell. Wife is done with me paying over for cars lol. I’m...
