please do not buy an ITS and try to cut a sunroof into it. not because āoh poor ITSā, but because I can see 100 things going wrong with that and you regretting it. If the sunroof is super important (seems like it is); then this isnāt the car for you. Save yourself the expense and headache...
AT4 is a beast. I love it. Love the subtle but nice styling, off road look but super smooth and capable highway cruiser. definitely not wild like a raptor or TRX which also have their place ⦠just not the tool for what Iām doing ā¦TRX that could tow would be really cool.
ford has tried to compete with the 1LE for a long time ... the GT350 was a great match performance wise and had that wonderful motor, but the price was substantially more .. the PP cars have always fallen short in performance and feel. i know their performance has gotten closer but the camaro...
exactly what i did .. never had an issue. about 10-15 track days/year so nothing crazy. tires lasted about 6 days, brake pads about 4 (inexpensive "track day pads" that wore out fast but never caused pad transfer to my rotors and always stopped the car so i stuck with them). all i did was...
honestly, Si feels like that to me too .. i've only driven a miata on a short test drive. they're an iconic car no doubt, but i really think the Si is a lot of fun ... i think the manual, the peaky turbo, nimble front end and low speeds are a nice package. most cars i have have been relatively...
Motor trend has it at more like 95 and Si at 93. But are leisurely funā¦. Which is really good for having a good time and avoiding speeding tickets!
quarter mile bragging rights are not part of the Si or Miata algorithm. Si is basically a 4door Miata .. both have their merits.
jsut leave a bunch of items throughout car and before you leave tell them
āThank you, I just gotta grab a few items from my car so Iāll be parked next to it ⦠I will probably take some time to say āgoodbyeā also. Donāt bother checking on me, Iāll be fine.ā
having more dedicated vehicles DEFINITELY makes sense. this is how i ended up with 4 vehicles: entertaining commuter (si), track car (GT4), track car hauler (3/4 ton AT4), and wife's car (Yukon AT4). there really is NO vehicle that's perfect at even one thing, much less covering multiple...
you say Si is too slow but you keep saying to get a miata as a fun car... ive only ever driven a miata once but they're known for beign slow. i did have a gr86 and it definitely wasn't fast either but it WAS fun to drive. consumables were super cheap no that car which was good because i burned...
We all have our algorithm for whatās best for ourselves and our lives ⦠thatās why there are sooooo many options! M240ix would be a fun car for sure! Iāve been tempted by m235i and M2 in the past but never quite offered what I was looking for. I still think theyāre great!
You donāt understand bc youāre looking at metrics. By the spec sheet, sure, maybe theyāre at the right spot. However, shifter feel is a big, big factor for people looking to still buy manuals. Also, some may place value on a hatch vs sedan.
However, the biggest category where the ITS might have...
This is why Iām taking the CS and ITS. Iāll probably have more fun in the ITS honestly. Intersted in the CS though and suspect/hope it will actually be pretty good⦠canāt help myself. Fast BMWs arenāt perfect, but still have their moments. Iāve had M3s (e46 and f80s) and an an M6 GC comp ā¦...
this .... all day long. we're buying a house sometime in the next year so we're narrowing down our (read: my) silly 4 car setup. i'm ditching my '22 GT4 manual and my wife's Yukon AT4 (only because i promised i'll get her another one) to combine them into an "all rounder" track day, commuter...
Lots of discussion about this .. figured a poll was in order to crunch the data.
Personally, I was hoping the ITS would be just a shade over CTR price .. say $47-48k but my brain knew that would never, ever, evvvverrrrr......be the case. i've been re-calibrated over the past couple of years...
speaking of rennlist .. why don't you keep that **** measuring stuff for that forum, lol. i've had my 718 for about a year and although i'm about to move on ... it's definitely as good or better than any of the 911s i've driven (save the GT3) for driving bliss. 911s are fantastic cars too, but...
+100 on this .... the Type R seats are money. seats are a HUGE factor for me feeling like i've gotten into a "sports" car. i have hopes that these will be "acceptable" ...
