According to @D-RobIMW , blow off valves on this platform can cause issues, and he says it has to do with the fact that metered air is not supposed to be vented (I think). Confuses the ecu measures or something like that. I wish I could elaborate more. Maybe shoot him a message.
I’d love to...
I normally park it down in the detached shop if it’s crazy cold or precipitation is coming in mainly bc I spend too much time washing, but not always. I didn’t pay attention enough to when the weather was coming in here. ? But we made it to hockey practice in the morning with zero issues on the...
Mine barely wanted to open last night so I loaded all the hockey gear in right away for today’s early am trip out of fear for not being able to load in the am & having to deal with my sons tears. Lol opened just fine after the hour trip there in like 3° so that was good.
Thanks for the insider info! That pretty much settles it for me going the Ohlin’s route since it’s still a family car at times. I’ll probably only see 2-3 track days a month at the most for now, so it definitely makes more sense than the Doteki spec. Or wait to see if anything else or updates...
Well, this is going to be an excellent thread to watch! Ok, @optronix, ok. I’ve subscribed to his channel, happy? ?
I have the RV6 rear sway & rigid collars (not installed) & was about to pull trigger on Eibach Pro springs as well. I go back & forth with deciding to do both to compare or just...
Super close! I’m LCM/Red. I don’t have a commute though so you’d only see me on the local roads around Eureka maybe midday & weekends maybe. I take the OO to 100 route to Dierbergs fairly often for a fun drive & a lot of those connecting roads.
I’ve only seen 2 FL5’s so far. Been meaning to...
100% with you there! I’m definitely not a status guy or one to try to fit in/be a part of the boys club. Hard enough getting through the gate without all that to mess with. ?
Nice, I’m in your area! Well, 6 flags area. Almost to 7500k so far & all good. What color did you go with? I only ask bc I thought I knew all the locals so far lol
Good share! Definitely a penny for the Garmin stuff. I’m not sure why it even goes from 10 minutes to 24 hours. Seems a couple options in between would make sense.
Sounds we have a similar past of working up - I just chose the wrong trade of flat roofing when I should’ve followed electrical! ...
I’m supposed to have one also, but haven’t for a couple years. So far so good in MO, but we’ll see when going through the plethora of IL troopers to WI next month.
Awesome solution!
That sounds cool! Didn’t know about that electrical customization. But you are high up in the electrical field as well. ?
So only the OBD constant has the 3 time options for some reason, but the cheaper $35 parking mode cable looks just to have an inline fuse & box of some sort. Very little...
So the Garmin Mini 2 has an option, both a constant power cable that goes to battery/fuse box & they also have one that hooks up to OBD for constant power which has settings for 10 minutes, 24 hours, or non stop. Most reviews are good but those that aren’t are having those issues that I’m trying...
Ok, OP mentioned Type S so wanted to make sure this wasn’t something new. I’d be disappointed if my steering was doing that too. Been there before with GM when rack & pinions were still a thing lol
Do you have constant power with the fuse box hookup or just ignition? I’m about to finally tackle this same setup this weekend, but I’m thinking of just using the Dongar adapter I have and using a mirror tap into the map lights connector for the Uniden. If I’m reading correctly for parking mode...
