I wonder if the auto version will have a push button shifter like other acura products or if they'll opt for the slightly more cost efficient lever style.
I get that, and that's the part of the advantage acura (rather than honda) has in profit margins. The integra probably won't cost much more to produce than a civic, but sell at a much higher average price, more profit per sale makes niche models more likely to be sustainable versus a much lower...
That wouldn't necessarily be a small number of people/sales. Not only Integra/RSX coupe lovers, but the civic and accord coupe lovers. Let's not forget it could nab some sales from cars like the Veloster. And to some degree possibly even BRZ/GR86 buyers that maybe want something a bit more...
I can see drive mode selector, the cursed stop/start function button... the center console also appears to have some kind of buttress that goes from the tunnel to the dash. I also see two-tone black/ivory seating. I love the new civic interior, but I hope it doesn't look too much like a...
I'm hopeful the full reveal will be promising, camo after all is meant to disguise and confuse. But a few things I noted when I could really examine the images closely...
- The front end does remind me a bit of the RLX/Legend front end especially the lower intake area, slightly disappointing as...
With the NSX gone I hope they'll decide to offer a super stylish low volume coupe/3-door variant to really be the face of the brand. Despite low take rates, those types of niche models elevate brand image as being sporty and stylish, the same way the NSX provided that sport oriented image. Even...
My only notes on this are that we already know the rear reflectors are going to be different based on the spy shot we have seen. And I suspect the lower front grille opening/fog light areas will be smaller/toned down a bit compared to the TLX. But overall, I wouldn't be upset if it looked like...
That's one aspect I'm hoping they do right for the Integra is the stance... even if they use the CTR as a base map... rather than having the exact same dimensions as the regular civic hatch, make the Integra wider by a couple inches, chop a few inches off the rear (or move the cabin rearward...
I'm still holding onto a little hope that they might still make a coupe variant after the 5 door is released. I won't be surprised or upset if they don't... but given the choice between a 5 or 3 door, I'd go for the 3 door. It just depends on how much customer outcry there is for one to happen I...
I have historically owned nothing but civics, from my first car to current. The new 11th gen civic has been... a let down, both in styling and in performance. Hoping the Integra can hit the sweet spot of style, price, and performance, or else I'll be keeping my 19' EX Coupe for the foreseeable...
There's still a chance they might. It makes sense to reveal and release the 4 door variant first as it'll be the volume seller. A coupe variant could still potentially come along (especially if theres enough customer desire for one). Especially with the NSX gone, and the integra being the new...
I want Apex Blue hands down. But I wouldn't mind seeing a dark purple like what the new civic and TLX have on offer. I think Phoenix yellow would be perfect for the Type S.
I'm really hoping they make the Orchid white interior available on the A-Spec... Apex Blue with Orchid interior would be...
The 11th gen platform (modified from the 10th gen platform) is in fact capable of AWD as it is the same platform the current CRV rides on, the new Integra should have no issues being made AWD for the future Type S should they choose that route (possibly with electric motors to drive the rear wheels)
