I want that blue so bad, but after 3 blue cars in a row my wife is making me buy a white car.
But if I get her a white CX5 . . . can’t have two white cars.
If an Integra can be over $50k, a Prelude can be $60k, and have a FWD + rear drive electric hybrid. That could end up being fun to drive. I’d prefer a manual but there’s more of a market for an automatic. If it’s an affordable Halo car it can be a coupe or fastback.
But more likely it’ll be a...
It’s a $50k car, back in 1997 I paid I think $21k for my GSR and a Type R was $25k and never went over sticker. I was making $40k out of college. It was doable for young people. I might have bought one if I knew how much better it was than a GSR.
Now with the cost of living tripled and salaries...
I think it's less age and more of what kind of shape you're in. I'm 55 and started going to the gym 3-4 times a week after moving to Taiwan last year since there's one in our apartment building.
It makes a huge difference in all kinds of things, including getting in and out of low cars, and...
have you driven one? I'd guess it's rather numb compared to the ITS, but the engine sound would never get old.
I miss having a nice sounding engine, last one I had was the 2004 330i ZHP, loved listening to that engine. Longest I ever owned a car too, at 12 years.
Turbo fours. Normally aspirated fours can sound amazing, as Honda has proven. I had a rental Audi A3 years ago, and the quick revvingg little 1.6L 100 hp four also sounded awesome.
I keep telling my two boys they may have to fight boys before they become friends. :D
I do get mad all the time about the wealth gap, but I would never blame a Porsche enthusiast, I blame the Federal Reserve. People are very angry these days, and rightfully so, about all the printed money...
So your RS3 didn't have the drift mode the Mk8 Golf R has? That's supposed to make the Golf R more fun.
I'm not sure I've driven an Audi since the B5 S4, both test drives and a buddy's heavily modified one. As awesome as that car was modified, stock it didn't compare that well to the E36 or E46...
Look at that, a post where you didn't mention Porsche.
I wasn't really serious, I'd much rather talk about Porsches than Hondas, if I can say that on this forum.
Yeah, I love my Focus, if the US government wasn't a bunch of dicks I'd bring it home with us in 18 months.
***cough*** Porsche! ?
i always like these guys’ show, the cinematography really gets you a good idea of what the cars look like and their opinion always closely matches mine.
While I’m leaning Type R I totally agree if they’re both over $50k I’m getting the ITS.
I Love the previous gen...
Really? Here's what I said.
That's why the engine sounds a little better than turbo 4s. But not as good as it should.
Toyota left some cards on the table, car should sound better and be a bit more exciting given what it is.
You just took the comment and ran with it so you could remind...
If Toyota had given the Corolla hatch a traditional trunk, like a Golf or my Focus, instead of the sloping roof, it would at least have a usable trunk and rear headroom. I hate when car makers gimp the practicality for some weird stylish reason.
Skip to 2:00 min mark to hear the 3 cylinder in the i8 (with all the fake noises turned off).

This is half a BMW inline six.
The Audi 5 cylinder sounds amazing. We can agree to disagree.
Doesn't really matter cause the...

It’s a 4” smaller wheelbase with a more peaky engine, less front heavy weight distribution- so it should be more fun, but is the difference enough to make up for the lack of refinement and practicality?
I’m praying for a second gen model with a more practical body style.
OP, I had a '97 GSR in the same color. Wish I had a better picture.
After selling this in 2000 for a '95 325i, (I wanted to do track days but couldn't fit in the Integra with a helmet) it was a long hiatus from Honda til my 2017 Civic Sport hatch.
I think it’s changing already. EVs are piling up on dealer lots despite continued subsidies. Ford is losing $90k per EV sold. That’s not a typo.
Tesla’s average selling prices have dropped $26k this year.
These are numbers that will kill off car companies before 2030. Something has to give...
