How often would you think it makes sense to change the filter vs. change the oil itself? I am at 900 miles on my Type S, and I am pretty old, having started with early-'60s cars, so the idea of waiting 5K miles for an oil change is bracing.
If I understand the question correctly . . .
I got this $19 net off Amazon; it fits the ITS and has been great so far: https://www.amazon.com/Floor-Style-Automotive-Elastic-Integra/dp/B0B8TL5V4D
I just added this cargo mat, which also fits the ITS well and has marked areas to cut out, if you...
Of course! Please share anything you learn along the way.
Oh, and you might also want a set like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HBQY2Q7
Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what kind of sealant to use to re-close the rubberized panels on the Integra doors. Maybe someone else here knows?
From the research I did, before choosing to have a pro do the work, you can definitely do a much cheaper 80/20 version yourself that will knock the top off the dbs . . .
There are YT videos to show you the basics, which include how to choose surfaces and cut shapes to maximize the size of each...
I can’t remember the exact price for just the matting work, but I think it was in the neighborhood of ~$1.7K, including Roadkill mat, and doubled matting in the fenders.
I did 140 miles in it this afternoon (hit 600!), about half freeway and half twisties, and love the result. The one thing...
Picked up ITS today from Beyond Street Performance in San Francisco. Chris did a really nice job of matting the fenders, doors, and trunk, added speaker rings, installed door projectors, and added a MirrorTap for a Uniden R8 detector. Within an hour of picking the car up, the R8 saved a ticket...
I am about to drop off my ITS to have some elective surgery, and I can't find a Valet feature listed in the manual, but thought I had seen it mentioned in a Car & Driver feature list for the ITS a while back.
Does it exist? If it does, how do I access it?
I live in a port city where cars get broken into and boosted a lot. Have a locked home garage for overnight storage, but park in the city during the day in areas where thefts/boosting happen.
Got my ITS a couple of weeks ago and live in a bit of fear of involuntarily waving goodbye to it. In...
That's an interesting range of materials used in the plug offerings above: 303 stainless, 6061 aluminum, titanium.
Is there a reason to prefer any one of those materials for engine and/or transmission oil plugs?
I have only had my ITS for a few days, and I can’t figure out how to get passenger mirror to tilt on reverse.
i could swear I saw this as a feature in a YT video, but maybe I’m misremembering. I thought I just needed to move mirror switch to right, then put car into reverse.
