I just ordered this! Was getting tired of the Remark. Just too loud for me. I’ll post lots of goodies when it comes in and once I put it on.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone swap exhausts yet, so it’ll be interesting to compare directly to the Remark.
From everything we’ve seen regarding this issue I think it’s one of 3 scenarios that trigger this code.
1) Factory defect on the install causing a leak between the neck and tank. A new neck/tank as I believe they are one piece, installed correctly would permanently fix this.
2) The weak...
Definitely put in premium gas regardless of the mpg gains. I’ve never understood this from people. You spent $40k on a car but won’t spend an extra $2 a full up to not damage your engine???
That’s what? Like $10 more a month?
He means don’t hold the brake and gas and launch the car. That’s a lot of tq instantly on the cvt that is idle. Roll into the throttle. Also Phearable’s cvt tune is adjusted to delay the tq down low for safety.
CVT’s will last forever with normal driving and care. Honda’s are significantly better quality than Nissan’s. Stop and go or hard braking isn’t an issue (it’ll actually auto downshift for you while harder braking. Sounds cool with an exhaust). Accelerating 40-80 or to any speed while moving...
I have the cvt and keep auto shut off off. First few hundred miles I got low to mid 20’s. It it crept up from there. With 6000 miles I average 36mpg now.
He’s lying because he is told to. 97% of car sales guys are in and out of the business. They don’t care about you. But the managers still want you to buy from the next sales guy, at a mark up.
S on the transmission does change the shift logic vs D. You can also still use paddle shifters in D, it’ll just go back to D after a few seconds. In S it will rev higher and downshifting will transmission brake harder. Also the suspension only is adjustable based on drive mode if you have the...
Just depends on the oem paint. But usually it’s not great. I don’t think it’s a market they really care if they’re competitive in.
Unless you are familiar with wet sanding and use a 3000+ grit, I wouldn’t bother sanding.
PPF is a great option. But a full car is gonna run like 5-8k for quality...
Yeah. Dealer OEM touch up paint doesn’t have the clear coat mixed in. The color looks way off until you top it with clear.
Dr ColorChip is just one thing. I use the paint prep liquid. Then dab the paint and smudge it with my gloved finger. You want it flat. Wait like 5 min, then use their stage...
The tune is the same regardless of mode. The factory adjustments remain. Comfort will still soften throttle response and sport still sharpens it. If you’re on map 2, you’re at 23psi on all modes.
