I am curious if the strut tower bars they're selling will fit the ITS. I love everything about the car. But there is some noticeable body roll when driving in a spirited fashion. I think it would help stiffen the car up just enough. But I hate to buy something that doesn't fit and go through...
You have a point however it increases scavenging and causes the turbo to spool a little quicker. Having an open 3 inch exhaust all the way through is best though.
I'm wondering the same thing. I specifically asked if they filled the car up with 93. They claimed that they did but I don't believe them.
After I filled up with 93 like 1 day ago I noticed it today. All I run is 93 in my cars.
I kept the revs 5k and under for the first 250 miles. Now I'm driving at different speeds and different revs and keeping it under 6k. And the car feels like it's getting faster the more I drive. Has anyone experienced this?
I could have easily bought a CTR. I had Honda Dealerships calling me from all over. Was even offered MSRP at one point. The new one just doesn't fit me personally. I'm happy with my choice.
Forgot to mention. It's consistently been 95+ degrees in Florida and so far I haven't experienced heatsoak yet with it. My FK8 experienced heat soak on EVERY SINGLE DRIVE. The power has remained consistent regardless of temperature. I'm sure it will probably be slightly more responsive on a cold...
My ITS feels just as stiff as my Type R did in Sport+ compared to R+.
My personal opinion ofcourse. And as stated before I've owned a 2017 FK8 and a 2020 FK8.
I will say that the ITS is slightly more comfortable and a tad more compliant on the road but it's not a huge difference at all.
All...
I'm not shocked at all. Jonathan Rivers kept trying to explain this to every reviewer he rode with but they weren't paying him any attention and it went straight over their heads. I knew this car was going to be faster. The torque is simply in the right places along with everything else you get...
Don't over pay for the ITS. The dealer I bought it from wanted $75k for the car. I told them they were absolutely insane and explained how offended and disrespected I was at that even being a possible price point.
They eventually called me back and came back to their senses. And I ended up...
As the title says. How are owners driving their ITS during the breaking in period?
I normally drive under light-medium acceleration and keep the revs under 5k until 1000 miles. I will be honest it's extremely hard not to open her up. I love the engine noise, throttle response and exhaust...
Here's some daylight pictures.
Edit: Sorry messed up the attachments earlier.
Man what a beautiful ? car! I like it way better than my Type R. I thought I was going to miss my Type R but I don't. Which surprises me.
And how your phone connects to the wireless phone connection to the car is awesome. They did a good job integrating the infotainment center. It's VERY easy to navigate and everything shows up on the main screen. Only thing is that I wish you could change the colors of the screen. That would be...
Well I got $39k for my Type R. And I financed $48k. I got all the accessories except the shift knob. I will add that later maybe. I really like the type s knob though. The GM is going to have them add the lighted up "A" badge that goes under the door. It will light up on the ground.
I was...
I ended up doing $1k down with $797 per month. Financed with Acura. I figured better to keep my $5k in the bank and accessible than just to save $100 a month on payment. Plus it will leave me some money to buy intake and hondata whenever they release support for it. I'm going to tune it. Man...
