I’m very curious about this sort of thing and also any effect that wheel spacers or non-stock offsets could have.
I’m too old to care about fitment but I do cringe a bit when people dive into that sort of thing without considering that they may be undoing some [presumably, hopefully] brilliant...
I understand the frustration and concern. My passenger side skirt is not installed correctly and the bumper cover had some misaligned clips. Installed splashguards last weekend and found they had used the wrong hardware on the driver rear fender liner. Most of it was hanging loose. All in all...
this was presented on a Mustang forum as if it had come from Michelin buti haven’t been able to find it on their website:
"Note: Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for...
from the manual:
Cold Weather Driving Summer Only tires and Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires are very sensitive to ambient temperatures and are designed to be used at temperatures above 45°F (7°C). If the vehicle is operated with Summer Only tires or UHP tires at temperatures below 45°F...
I’ve got white with an 8 year old and a 3 year old and I haven’t had much trouble. I just hit it with leather cleaner fairly often and have my 3 year old take her shoes off to ride. She just can’t help kicking the seat in front of her.
First oil change at 2730 miles. There was no drain plug washer from the factory. I put one on when I replaced the plug. Maybe it’s because I’m VIN 420 and the boys were distracted.
I was bummed that we didn’t get those shift lights or a horizontal tach option. Now that I’ve had it a while I find the flashing red tach more than adequate. I’ll still follow along to see if you all get this to work.
I just stuck a Meross smart module on my existing garage door opener. When I get close to home a button pops up on carplay to open the garage door. That or I can use Siri to do it. $45, 15 minute install, and I didn’t have to pop a bunch of interior trim.
That’s fair for you to assume and I’m certain the dealer will suggest that. The car has had 2 passengers in it in 2 months, my very careful wife each time. It’s not daily driven. It was pretty misaligned from day 1 and I should’ve taken it back to them earlier. If they won’t help me I’ll buy...
I did pop it back on the white clip. I spun the clip 180 degrees so the cracked off corner wasn’t on the side doing the bulk of the work. I’ll try to get them to replace that clip and address the damaged part of the shirt itself. I’ve got other gap/alignment issues I’ll ask them about too.
Yeah I can do that with the white clip but it has a corner cracked off so it’s retention will be a bit diminished. Also a clip that’s a molded piece of the side skirt itself is cracked. You can see it in pic 2 (the piece not the crack, it’s a blue hook). I wonder if the white clip was busted...
And not in that good “off the chain….danglin’ “ sort of way.
I’m getting an appointment scheduled; this is very frustrating. It has taken no hits. I’m curious if the dealer will try to make me pay but I feel very strongly this should be warrantied. It looks like the white clip is broken. Not...
