I’ve seen that posted before, perhaps by you. I seriously considered tracking down the original post and asking for permission to use it in Georgia lol. Permission from the brainchild and the state. Wife wasn’t crazy about the idea, but maybe in next years renewal.
I've been slowly spiraling into madness while trying to get new clock wallpapers in my ITS. I've tried a million different USB drives, a factory reset, formatting all usb drives all ways I can (both on windows and mc) and a bazillion file sizes/resolutions (non exceeding the 11MB or 4096 x 2304...
I posted the link to the kit I bought and posted pictures of it that show the tire size In this thread.
Here it is again for simplicity: https://modernspare.com/product/2015-2023-honda-civic-type-r-spare-tire-kit-options/
Even with that kit filling my trunk I was able to get the giant back to...
Got mine back from ceramic coating. I'm pretty well equipped for paint correction at home, but have never tried a ceramic coating. I had a shop do this for me, but I'll do my own ceramic coating on the 7th gen Accord 6MT. I just couldn't risk my first attempt on the ITS.
Lots of district managers getting calls now ? Maybe I should’ve tried this before I gave up my FL5 search. Honestly after having the ITS for a month, I can say it worked out.
Congrats OP, and good luck to everyone still on the hunt.
I have the titanium knob. It’s awesome! I put the stock knob in my 7th gen accord.
Any metal knob can burn your hand but I’ve never had much off an issue. It’s not a big deal to me to just finger tip it while I wait for it to cool. The titanium knob’s lack of a leather wrap changes nothing...
Yeah he’s 50% more brave than me ?. Well, more than that because I put a waterproof layer and a firm cushioned layer under my 2 kids’ seats. They will only be allowed water in the ITS.
I toyed with the idea of getting the Acura pet seat cover and punching out some holes for the child seat...
I got my ABP last Monday and immediately put in child seats. Well I put two layers of protection down first ?. My 3 and 7 year olds love it. 3yo daughter tells me every morning that she doesn’t want to go to school, she just wants to ride in the blue car all day.
We still mostly take the...
So I decided I’d buy the FL5 spare kit from modernspare.com (https://modernspare.com/product/2015-2023-honda-civic-type-r-spare-tire-kit-options/) and keep it on top of the trunk tray. They are insisting over email that the ITS is 5x114.3. I’m pretty sure it’s 5x120 and the FL5 kit would work...
I just forced it. It took a few tries to figure out which way to flex the piece to get the tab tucked in. I was real careful not to pop the second tab out in the process. I figured if that happened I was taking the whole bumper cover off to reseat everything but I may have been able to just...
I’ve found that with it turned off it only does the brake hold for like 3 seconds and only when facing uphill . With it turned on it stays on (presumably for up to 10 minutes per the manual) and works uphill and downhill.
Maybe I missed it in the manual but I don’t think they described this 3...
My brake hold is always on. I’ve tried turning it “on” and back “off” to no avail. Super curious if anyone else has the issue or if I’m doing something wrong. Manual sure reads like you have to turn it on to me, but I keep reading the manual on my phone and may have missed something.
