  1. Back on Track

So example of the v730, 265/35/18 runs 860 a set 275/35/19 is 1268 275/35/18 is 900 So after a few sets of tires you start to offset the cost. You also get the benefit of more torque with a shorter tire vs the 19, more inherent adjustability, and the peace of mind that if you pop one on track...
  2. Back on Track

One thing you could do is request the tires to be heat cycled. The first heat cycle on rubber changes how the compound resettles once it cools and running them out to 180-200F is different from a typical autox 160-180F. It will help the rubber last longer through heat cycles. It doesn't change...
  3. Back on Track

The vq37vhr in the g37 and 370z makes about 270-280whp stock. So FBO nets a decent amount. Even at 326 whp it definitely feels anemic down low. It's an engine that NEEDS to be wrung out. An around town putter it's not. That's where the its shines because of its down low torque, but the its also...
  4. Full PPF on the rear diffuser

I don't like the partial cutoff line. Around my area, a hood and bumper ppf runs you 1500 to start. I did everything except for doors, hatch, and color part of the rear bumper in ppf. With tint we're talking about 4800$. I like being able to use any old rag to wipe down the front end after a...
  5. Full PPF on the rear diffuser

Nah, that has a tpu cover... Because who wants to spend 300$ for a new one when your baby chunks it across the garage and it shatters to pieces ? To be honest though, ppf has value to you if you care to keep paint in good condition, especially with how awful the paint on these cars is and how...
  6. Back on Track

So I got a yearly dyno done Friday on the z after all the maintenance. It picked up power as it heat soaked and the dyno operator and shop owner both mentioned it's the most consistent car they've dynoed in a long time. It made a peak 326whp on a dynojet dyno (mustang would be 360 or so) and if...
  7. Full PPF on the rear diffuser

Ironically, those "high risk areas" being covered is typically called the "track pack" ?
  8. "Type S" badge on front grille

Yeah this. Based on the op I assumed they were wanting to just debadge, but that sounds right about the black badge just pressing on.
  9. "Type S" badge on front grille

Mine is not adhesive. Mine has backing and some plastic screw type things. You could easily just grab a pair of dikes or a dremel and just zip it off with the bumper still on.
  10. "Type S" badge on front grille

Two screws from behind. Dremel it off if you don't care.
  11. Full PPF on the rear diffuser

I took my car out to a new track yesterday and it was littered with debris. The ppf protected the paint and even got a bit pitted in areas. My windshield on the other hand is now toast. It looks like a 150k mi windshield due to the debris. It's so pitted I'm considering just replacing it...
  12. Best Tint VLT%?

Yeah NY laws suck. Can you get a medical exemption? You might just have sensitive eyes and a history of skin cancer in the family... Ime, cops don't mess with cars with illegal tint unless you're doing something else for them to stop you, but each state is different.
  13. Plagued with a rattle [ Please Help ]

Have you had the civic screen tsb done?
  14. Plagued with a rattle [ Please Help ]

I would also move the vents around and maybe put a clothes pin on the window vents to see if that helps silence things.
  15. Plagued with a rattle [ Please Help ]

The screen noises are usually a high pitch rattle/buzz and they come from the plastic below the screen or the plastic behind it. From your description it doesn't sound like that's the culprit. Your description keeps making me think it could be wastegate... Just resonating through everything...
  16. Intermittent Volume Issue

I haven't had this issue, but I would suspect a fuse or the amp. Acura has no load line measuring, so you won't get errors or codes if something isn't delivery or drawing power within spec, and it sounds like that's what's happening to you.
  17. Integra receiving interior and exterior updates for M/Y 2026 (Summer 2025).

Agreed. If anything the its would be a year behind and given the standards they're trying to hit globally for emissions, I'm not so confident that it will live on...regardless of the current us administration rolling back epa requirements to 1970s standards. The engine/trans is still a global...
  18. Best Tint VLT%?

Just for reference, tint vlt is measured from outside in, not both ways. A device sends light from one pole at a known brightness and the other pole measures how much light made it through. This drop is measured against a known/predefined curve with known samples and that's what the device bases...
  19. Best Tint VLT%?

And as a bonus they don't block cell signal like the metallic based films they used to use!
  20. Integra receiving interior and exterior updates for M/Y 2026 (Summer 2025).

Out of curiosity, where did you hear this rumor?
