I had a great laugh with the auto highs...pretty sure I blinded someone before they turned off...very reactive and felt like I had the sun on my side lol
I have a guy locally who is almost magic when it comes to these types of repairs...yes insurance will raise premiums, but if you have the cash you can pay outright an not ding your premium or the carfax
I keep mine about halfway on as its really cold...I did notice mine seemed weak when I first got it an messed with which vents it was coming out of, keep it on both feet an face vents an no issues here either as I'm about freezing waiting on some food lol
Not really related to nighttime driving but tonight and as this is my first electric ebrake car, I pulled it on a dirt road an it actually engaged for the time I had it pulled...might be able to drift lol
i have also run them on everything for the last 20ish years on many different cars, live in the desert and have had nothing pass through. I have seen on a diesel where it went into areas with super fine dust and ruined the engine, this was a weird situation and it was running an OEM filter.

This is a 2009 STI Hatchback with 219k miles on...
I just tested my snapon solus...had to trick it into thinking its an older type r as the software stops at 2021 vehicles...but it entered maintenance mode without issue!
i tried doing the adaptive cruise and mine was randomly braking without cause...turned it off as i felt like i would be perceived as a jerk slowing down randomly/brakes being activated for no reason...
i got the Tanso one directly from them, did the steering wheel, ac vents/dash and the shifter, fits great and the thin tape it came with makes it feel almost OEM, was pretty fast ~10 days from when i placed the order till i got it.
That stuff works ok, if the residue gets heavy it doesnt get it all...an I use slightly soapy water for tint as other stiff tends to degrade the tint or the glue for the tint
